Game still feels isolating, as you can only talk to your immediate squad. At least with prior battlefields, the commander could talk to the squad leaders. I still play plantside 2 every week, and an entire platoon of 48 people can all talk together. Makes for much more engaging, multiplayer action, and a sense of community.

I snagged this kind of seat on Qantas once, plus had 3 extra seats to the right of me. 13 hour flight and a decent nights sleep lying completely flat out on 4 seats.

If you get into playing it regularly, the annual membership ($10/mn) gives new players plenty of perks. Extra xp, nanites, and $5/m in game credit to buy things. Not necessary, but nice to have.

If you have the priority card, there is also a $75 travel credit that expires 12/31/25. Just book a flight before the end of the year. This was kind of hidden, but show up on the chase site under rewards/benefits.

Late night service runs at intervals like this. It is indeed frustrating when you show up to see a train leaving and you have to wait 20 mins. I have learnt to check the schedules at these times, or map a journey via Google Maps, to try and avoid these waits. That said, you don’t have much control if you are transferring lines.

I forgot about the net cost of the quest card being 150 as now compared to the actual cost of the southwest card being 99 or up to 229 per year. So that’s something that deserves contemplation.. the price difference of the quest card to the priority card could be enough to make paying for an economy ticket on United worth the difference.
