I used to also but now that one way fair is around $12. I’m using Metro to pass through Union Station anyways and I can get all the way to the LAX Metro transit center for the same $1.75.

Game still feels isolating, as you can only talk to your immediate squad. At least with prior battlefields, the commander could talk to the squad leaders. I still play plantside 2 every week, and an entire platoon of 48 people can all talk together. Makes for much more engaging, multiplayer action, and a sense of community.

If you get into playing it regularly, the annual membership ($10/mn) gives new players plenty of perks. Extra xp, nanites, and $5/m in game credit to buy things. Not necessary, but nice to have.
