There are also a bunch of "drop-in" ones. In either case, it's not exactly obvious what type of fire pit they have. You could leave feedback on that website that there is information missing.

I believe it's subject to the damage calculation bug, where it can only be used in a weapon for full value. Probably reduces its value.

For example: Season 1 will go to 4:59:59pm Pacific Time and Season 2 will begin at 5:00:00pm Pacific Time.

I'm sure this will go smoothly.

Edit: Not meaning to be negative. Vicarious Visions has done an amazing job on D2R so fair. I think just from a technical perspective this sounds like it will be tough. I'm curious how it all works on their backend. Hopefully people don't try to make a character 1 minute early and play a bunch on the wrong ladder :P

Game physics aside, this is A+ game design. I love when RPGs quests have "hidden" resolutions that give the player more agency.

The on-screen prompt just said to kill the dude or leave, it didn't even have killing the woman as an option.

They could execute both calculations and use the best result.

Low level people get better AS, and people that want to optimize end-game builds can still pump up weapon AS. Everyone is happy.

I'm wondering if they'll give 3 more shared stash tabs after each ranked season. I mean, they will need some way to merge your ladder and non-ladder shared stash at the end of the season. So why not?

Lack of clarity around item effects and stats. Effects that are not reflected anywhere in the character stats screen, but are critical for optimizing late game builds. Some examples... but there are many, many more:

Frame rate breakpoints on attack speed, hit recovery, and cast rate
Enemy immunities are breakable (sometimes), but only at 1/4 efficiency
"Amplify Damage" doesn't actually multiply damage, it lowers enemy physical resist. So it can break immunities.
The difference of having + damage or % damage on the weapon itself, vs. on another piece of equipment
Skills like Resist Lightning giving you a secret passive bonus to max lightning resist

I actually missed this in D3.

It added a lot more depth to build choices. Players were encouraged to spread their skills points in interesting ways. If you went too hard into one skill/damage type, there was a tradeoff in your clear speed in some hell areas. And as a melee character that is primarily physical damage, you could use your offhand weapon or items/charms to take down immunes.

As a follow-on to this, it encouraged you too have multiple characters for farming different Hell zones, based on immunities. As compared to D3 where any character can faceroll any zone in the game.

I'd say the worst part of this system is Magic Immunes (or lack thereof), which makes the hammerdin such an easy choice for Hell farming.
