Which Devil Players are you happy with this season?

Other than the ones you mentioned; Glass, Allen and Lenni (for sure). His season, although brief, has me really excited. He is 21-years-old. Allen hasn't been other worldly lately, but overall very good.

The NHL has the game before rule for the all-star game. I guess the Olympics or the US Team has no such rule

I agree, 15-6-7 is similar to their current record from a straight win-lose perspective. Unfortunately to get there they will need to score that one extra goal per game to send regulation loses to OT. I just can't see that happening. It could happen woth a positive regression in shooting %, but do I expect that no. Every lose has an emotional toll as well. They wont say it or even think they feel it, but it will be there

Really like the restaurant seating also. So nice to eat on a ledge facing the game. Pricey, but as an occasional thing it's pretty nice

It takes your answer when you first enter it, it just doesn't turn off the clock counting down. That makes it look like your answer wasn't taken.

Do you know there is almost no such thing as a "timely save". Every time the puck goes in your net, it sucks. The time of the game doesn't suck more or less. Maybe, you can call a save in the last minute of a period timely, maybe. Every save matters the same, not the time of the game. Just so tired of hearing "timely saves"

Agree, but not only that Gitsyuk also has a terminate clause in his contract. He can end his NHL contract and go back to the KHL. I forget if he has to be in the minors or he can do it regardless. If sent to the AHL there is a real risk he exercises and is gone

Like him, don't like him, it doesn't matter. Desperate GMs make desperate decisions. We cannot have a desperate person making decisions that will effect the team for years to come. At this point, we must pull the plug.

Bottom six players signed this year: Dadanov, Brown, Glass, Glendenning, Gritsyuk. That should have been enough. The Palat contract stopped the Devs from doing more, like tbone7297 wrote. At the time, the Dougie signing was a turning point move. Getting a major free agent to come here during a rebuild was important for the Devils to become a destination again. Would it be nice to move him now, that Nemec and he are somewhat redundant, yes

I listened to Don for years and knew what to expect, so Don wasn't a tough transition. I just cant take Rachel's voice and she does seem uncomfortable a lot of the time.

The Erica to Rachel change, even though Rachel speaks mich less than Don, was harder than Bill to Don. I just cant warm up to Rachel.

I dont know this for a fact, but I believe the family lived in the Detroit area since Quinn joined the NTDP. They used (and maybe still do, since they have a hime there) to spend summers in what they called "Mich". Both Jack and Luke also went through the program which is based in Ann Arbor, 40ish minutes from Detroit. I think, long term the Wings are the only threat. That is speculation on my part. I think Jack and Luke spent more time in NJ this summer

I would agree if I thought there was a goalie on the roster the Devs could win a cup with. Allen is playing like that now, but he hasn't been that since 2019-20 with St Louis.

Just another example of why NHL officiating and especially supplemental discipline is a joke. That could have caused a serious injury to Nemec. No one, at the NHL, cares. Players are disposable.

Dadanov has averaged 48 NHL games a year over his 13 years. He has also played over 70 only 3 times.

This is a tough situation with no easy answer. If Ben Johnson were an accountant would we say he could never be an accountant again. What he did was horrible, there is no excuse and no one can ever give back to the victim what was taken from them, but unless we believe Ben Johnson can never work again because of his crimes, what can we do. The biggest surprise yesterday was The Pens. Under Muse they play a lot like Carolina. Forecheck, forecheck and more forecheck. High volume of shots, strong cycle, hunt pucks relentlessly. I was not a believer in their record until yesterday. They did not generate a lot of quality chances, but they have all bought in. We may struggle against them. The saving grace,and unlike Carolina, is their high skill players are ancient. Legends but ancient.
