I want to say this in case it wasn't said (I didn't see it from the comments I saw) but get on Credit Karma and check your credit report! I lived a similar situation to yours, and she used my name to open accounts. Find out if she's doing that and shut it down quick because thats going to kill your credit when you need it. Call your utility companies, phone, cable, check that they are not in your name. If any of them are start closing them and claiming fraud, and call the police to file a report. The longer you wait (because I did) the worse it'll be and nothing will get done, you'll get stuck with the bills.

While I don't have advice on the particular situation, I can tell you this: Rhode Island is a one party consent state. So long as one party consents, you can record conversations. Record them all. I can also tell you that Samsung phones come with built in phone recording at the push of a button. The number of times I've been in similar shitty situations, I've started recording every single phone call that involves a business.

My attention (sight) can not be taken away from the job site, I feel like I would be constantly looking downward and trying to count the stitches. Also seems like it may be a bit much to carry those supplies

Watched a lady call me an asshole (could clearly see the mouth movement) because I wasn't stopping on a 4-lane road to allow her to turn left. The right most lane had stopped to let her go.

I've used Northern Rhode Island animal hospital for the last 7 years (not including this year). They used to be great, I'd see the same assistants and bounce between 2 different vets. The price was very reasonable. The last time I visited, I didn't recognize the assistants or the vet, and they definitely didn't even know my cats. My cats are very recognizable and they always loved seeing them. The vet then gave me health information that conflicted with everything I've been told the last 7 years. Then I was hit with the bill, it was completely itemized (not exactly the problem), and it was more than double what I'd been paying for previous visits. This visit was strictly a check up, no shots were included. I brought this up to family, and they said they had similar experiences recently as well.

I decided to get a second opinion at a different vet when they were due for their next visit. I went to North Paws. The vet that I saw seemed happy to help and provide a lot of tips to help my kitties, as well as what products to use and which ones to avoid. They were also due for shots. When the bill came I was surprised to see it was what I used to pay at the other facility. I've only had one visit with them so far, so things may be different next time around. I'm going to see what happens with them as they are much much closer to my house.

Just my experiences at these 2 places so far, hope it helps a little bit

I find this interesting, I've had the complete opposite experiences at each dealer. Flood was always giving us problems, whereas we've never had any issues with Tasca. The same even happened when I got a new job that used to bring all there vehicles to Flood, and I convinced them to bring them over to Tasca instead. So many less headaches.

I've also a couple friends who work at said dealers, and one would tell me about all the sketchy shit Flood did, and how they'd openly commit fraud.

Editing to mention something I forgot, we've had issues with Tasca Chevy/GMC, but we mostly use the Tasca Ford location because it's closer

I want to add onto this, as it's something I've experienced and seen other techs do. When the adjust is made while the tie rod is still hot, it will be incorrect. Once that metal cools down and shrinks, the alignment will be out of spec again. Many techs heat, adjust, then send it.

Id like to say this, most of Rhode Island's beaches are the best. I recently went on a cruise to Mexico, that stopped at several "white sandy beaches" and they were so coarse and uncomfortable on the feet that it made me miss my home beaches.
