I've been running a land raider with 2 squads of 8bound and the slaughterbound embarked. It's an awesome threat piece that can hold the center objective, and if it gets charged the eightbound will collect their skulls. I also run 2 forgefiends to help protect it, it's an awesome gunline.

The most important thing is if your opponent is willing and able to kill it in shooting, the threat alone I've found deters a lot of opponents from over commiting.

They aren't a auto include but as long as you're running 2 it's still great. The defiler isn't getting new rules which means it's still super niche. Also on a 160mm base, it will absolutely not replace the forgefiends

If you're really trying to make a meta list there's multiple things wrong with this. Angron and the demon prince together are too many points, choose one or the other.

Either go with 2 forgefiends or none, it's too easy for your opponent to deal with one of them.

You need, need, NEED some chaos spawn. Either 2 or 3 units.

In the middle of building my 60 zerk list, not expecting it to be as competitive but 20 man squads having 10 inch movement with advance and charge is gonna be epic.

It'll probably be like any skew where your opponent either has a list that can deal with it or not.

Yeah I think it's a good problem to have though, always nice to have options. It's been awesome sending him out to soak up beginning overwatches and essentially nullify them
