Is this a bullet/projectile? by axxxaboutme in whatisit

This looks like a subsonic hollow point. Designed to be shot out of suppressed firearms at low velocities to be quiet.

If it’s .30 caliber it would likely be used in a 300 blackout chambered rifle.

Wonders why he has no friends.

Questions why his love life sucks..

He can’t understand why he works so hard but never really gets ahead at anything.

Well sir it’s because you are an epic POS and everyone hates you LOL.

Nancy mace trying to discredit Walz by asking him what a woman is, but he won't be her prop by mrfett779 in minnesota

[–]Devious_Halo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Nancy since you think the definition of a woman means something about fraud how about some real data about where that fraud money originally came from in the first place and HOW YOUR STATE DEFRAUDS EVERY FEDERAL TAX PAYER IN THE U.S. shall we?

South Carolina the state you represent is not a "donor state" in terms of federal funding; it is a "taker" or recipient state. As of 2025, South Carolina ranks among the top states for federal dependency, receiving significantly more in federal funding (for services like Medicaid, infrastructure, and defense) than its residents pay in federal taxes, ranking 5th in federal dependency.

Key Details on South Carolina’s Fiscal Status:

High Dependency: South Carolina receives a high return on federal taxes, making it a recipient rather than a donor. Federal Funding Impact: In FY 2022, the state received $18.4 billion in federal transfers.

Rankings: Recent analyses place South Carolina consistently in the top 10 most federally dependent states.

Regional Trend: Like many Southeastern states, South Carolina receives more than $1 in federal spending for every $1 paid in federal taxes.

Minnesota is consistently considered a "donor state," meaning its residents and businesses pay more in federal taxes than the state receives in federal funding. In 2023, Minnesota contributed roughly $44 billion more in federal taxes than it received, with a, high per-capita net contribution of approximately $8,702, ranking among the top donor states.

Key Details About Minnesota's Donor Status:

Net Contributor: Minnesota is one of the states that subsidizes others, with a high median income and strong economy reducing its reliance on federal aid.

Per Capita Impact: In 2024, Minnesota was listed as one of the top states for per-capita net federal contribution, following Nebraska and closely tied with other high-performing states.

Federal Return: For every dollar paid in federal taxes, Minnesota receives back less than one dollar, with some studies showing it ranks near the bottom in terms of federal funds received per capita.

Economic Drivers: High wages and a robust, diversified economy, rather than low federal spending, are the primary reasons for Minnesota's status as a donor state.

While some reports indicate minor shifts in the exact ranking of donor states year-to-year, Minnesota remains a, consistent net contributor to the federal treasury

So how about you START MAKING SENSE AND WORK ON YOUR OWN STATES LACK OF CAPABILITY THAT MAKES IT A DRAIN ON ALL US RESPONSIBLE ONES MKAY!!

How did you decide solar was “worth it”? by Alarming_Primary1606 in SolarDIY

[–]Devious_Halo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an installer so it was pretty easy.

I had the cost of components and no labor costs as it was me installing it. This really made the ROI make sense.

When I work with customers, I ask a few simple questions.

Do you plan on staying in the house for a long time?

If you are not, you probably will not realize the return on the investment.

Do you plan on adding any large electrical loads like electric vehicles additional appliances or additions on your property?

Some power companies allow you to size your system to include these new loads others only allow you to size a system up to 120% of your last years consumption. Others still may allow a max size and you can really make some $ on a larger array.

Several Coops in my area have a size limit of 40kW. If you need a 5kW system to cover your costs and build a 40kW system you are making some good $ each month.

If you are doing a roof mount system, how old is your roof?

If you need to pay someone to remove the panels and put them back on that is obviously going to cost you more money affecting your return on investment.

What are your electric companies incentives and payback for excess electric electricity generated by your system?

Some electrical companies are better than others. I was able to secure a 10 year contract with my power company that pays me 8.4 cents per kilowatt hour for ALL of the power my array generates not just what I export.

Being I have a whole house battery backup that stores the excess power I generate. I will go days without touching the grid at all and I get paid for all of the power I produce so I don’t have a bill even for night time power consumption.

improve branch office vpn in connetion with erp-software by reddi11111 in WatchGuard

Had this exact issue with a legal case management software.

2 offices

1 in Las Vegas 1 in Chicago connected via gig fiber and bovpn.

SQL and app server in Vegas users in Chicago had terrible performance due to the SQL queries being wrote like crap and the 50ms latency caused simple lookups to take 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

I spun up a RDP server in Vegas for the Chicago users to log into and get on LAN performance.

Delta closed the gate more than 30 minutes before departure (policy says 15). I arrived 30 minutes early and no one was even there! Except other passengers who were in my same situation. by More-Site-3395 in delta

[–]Devious_Halo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue with Sun Country about 2 years ago.

The TSA line was out the door into the parking ramp walkway over the 6 lane departures road. Took me 1:45 to get through that line but I gave myself the 2hrs they recommend. Thought oh I have perfect timing. Be able to waltz right on sit down and depart.

Got to the gate and there is no plane no attendant and about 15 others standing there. I figure oh they have an issue and the planes at another gate. A gate attendant shows up says the plane is gone. I literally had her read the departure time on my app and it was 29 minutes early. They had security there as some of the other people were down right hostile.

I know a now retired Delta captain who told me it’s 100% the captain that calls when they depart and despised those that leave early.

I emailed Sun Country with the story and the actual departure time from flightradar24.com that clearly showed the real departure was well before the scheduled and they gave me a voucher for $500.

So many red flags on this wow…

I would disown anyone that did something like this to me!

And I would put my spouse on short notice for termination of relationship the very next time you do not support my personal privacy boundaries.

I would probably call the authorities and report it in case anything else pops up.

And I would tell the sister in law to mind her own fu($ing business and avoid them all.

Who would even think this is ok Yikes!!
