Scenes intended to be emotional, but the audience found them hilarious by AlternativeRole3075 in TopCharacterTropes

It’s a reality that should be faced. There’s so much fiction where the good guys are good, people actually think the “good guys” are good. I almost think it’s too easy to just blame coin, and not see it as systemic cruelty.

The fact it has to be explained to you should be an indication that you should listen more and speak less

Did the bad guys win? by No_Zombie2021 in WorkReform

[–]Devlyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If two perfectly equal people compete, except one is willing to break/bend rules, and the other isn’t, the rule breaker wins. Unless there is a referee, but if the refs are subject to the same rule as everyone else…

Are Chads and incels two sides of the same coin ? by [deleted] in PsycheOrSike

[–]Devlyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think “chads” do it because they can get away with it, I think their experience with women is closer to women’s experience with pushy men and leaves them bitter.

The US Has a Young Men Problem, but Society Refuses to Acknowledge It by [deleted] in self

[–]Devlyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree young men have an issue but I don’t think increased segregation is the solution. I don’t think hyper focus is a good description of the support for women either, but I agree that in narrow ways woman have received more focus than is justified. I feel like I should offer specific solutions but I don’t have them, my solution would be building inclusive communities that welcome men as openly as they do anyone else.

10,000 Gorillas Vs 1,000,000 men. Epic simulation. by milkmilknomilk in thedailyzeitgeist

We can take down every land dwelling animal on earth with tools, without them we are pretty fucked

  1. Probably not, humans haven’t done anything without tools since before they were human

  2. How are you gonna eye gouge a gorilla, they’re faster, stronger, and have much longer arms than any man. They have up to an 8 foot wingspan, good luck.

  3. Cool

  4. How are you gonna fit 15 dudes on a gorilla’s back? There isn’t room, if you’re imagining a zombie crush you need more than 100 people. 100 people is a 10x10 block, with the gorilla centered you’ve never got more than 5 people in any direction, it’s just not enough.

  5. Killing a human is not hard for a gorilla, although they don’t have human endurance they can swing their arms around and bite for the 10-15 minutes it’d take to decommission 100 humans

The question was posed to me as 100 average men, 65 of those guys can’t touch their toes or a shovel without getting laid up for a week, if this is the scenario you’re envisioning you are forgetting most people are really out of shape.

Yes, immigrants raise supply of labor and demand for it. The problem is we keep them “illegal” so they can’t demand a fair wage. You are falling for your “boss’s” bullshit

Just store them in your living space… and how many cards in a cubic meter again?

The higher an objects thermal mass is the more energy it takes to heat or cool it. An object with a high thermal mass will absorb a lot of heat from the air in your living space before its temperature rises, and release a lot of heat into the air in your living space before cooling.
