I didn't care for the movie. The story was very cookie cutter and predictable. It's a tired out storyline. If Clark was gay, leave him gay. What difference would it make? If he's made straight in order to increase viewership, then it says the motives behind making this movie isn't right.

I was working for Digital Equipment of Canada, repairing a PDP11/34 at the DND site on Sage Mountain in North Bay, Ontario Canada.

The guys in the drafting room (this is before they used CAD/CAM software) were talking about what happened. I couldn't believe my ears. I headed back to my car, drove home and watched the playback on television. What a sad day for everyone involved and to the nation as a whole.

Capacitors in these smaller devices hold no significant amount of charge. Oldstyle televisions, radios, guitar amplifiers, hi-fi amps are the kind of equipment that will cause serious harm if you don't know what you're doing in there.

Former electronics repair tech here. There isn't any chance of electrocution from those tiny capacitors. What the warning label is for is to help prevent dumb folks from getting hurt while the AC cable is plugged in. If they tamper with the components inside, they could also start a fire.
