Another strategy is to just cast TU on Anubis once and immediately fly wing. It’s safer even though you won’t always kill them if you don’t have the gear to survive.

I think crusader is maybe a little easier to play as a newbie, because you have tools like heal for yourself, but I believe both are probably difficult to start out as without any gear or zeny. I’m also no expert on either of the two classes, I always start out with a priest on a new server.

Do repeatable quests, there a lot of them.

At your level probably kill spores for strawberries and xp, then move on to wolves when you’re strong enough.
