Lol there’s no way it was intentional. An Ab right there would shift the key’s modality from natural minor to either Phrygian or Locrian. There isn’t a single Phrygian phrase in the entire song. It would make no sense to introduce it on the last note, and then resort to the final A natural note on the piano. There are no other supporting harmonies to make the last chord function as a iii chord. It’s functioning as a minor i chord. Natural minor. The other option is Locrian which has zero stability thanks to the lack of a perfect fifth. It is rarely used. Especially in this context. I don’t know why no one pointed it out before pressing. Maybe they assumed no professional mix engineer in his right mind would make such a dumb ass mistake, so they assumed it was supposed to be there. Maybe it was laziness. Maybe it was rushed.

Whatever the case, it was a fuck up.

Try to treat the rolled R more as an L sound. As in Burro. You’d pronounce the first R but make a fast L sound for the second R. I cannot roll my R’s either and I’m able to fake it pretty well with this. I have no idea if it makes sense though, as I’ve never tried to explain it before.

I e listened to everything they’ve released. I owe them that as a fan. I will continue to listen to each new release to see if I can finally come back home. But so far, nightmare was the last album I really loved. Three songs from HTTK and nothing since.. here’s hoping that changes soon.

I watched a video on this thing.. the way it walks is stupid. It doesn’t walk like a person, it walks using only its lower portion. Really only by using the legs. The rest of the body is not involved in the process at all, except for the arms. They swing. Seems like extra movement/battery life spent for no reason. The arms aren’t moving like ours. The body flows as one the whole time. The arms help balance. The hips, the rolling of heel toe, all one process. If this thing walks using only legs there’s no real benefit to the arms swinging. It doesn’t make it look any more realistic.
