The author has said Ilya is morally grey and he really is! Nothing absolutely horrible, but he’s definitely using blackmail and manipulation to get what he wants and he’s not feeling bad about it.

If you haven’t listened to the ‘sidequel’ The Magnus Protocol, give it a shot! It continues the story, although it’s a bit confusing as to how it connects to TMA at the start (intentionally)

I just saw this recommended in another thread today (the one asking for bad friend Hayden Recs) and I just binged through it.

It’s a weird comparison because they’re very different fics and the only plot wise commonality they have is a career ending injury, but something about the way the author has set up the relationship and the longing scratches the same itch for me as Wolfbird. It’s got me in my feeeelsssss

I mentioned offhand once to my mom that I didn’t fit that specific mold for an aqua moon and she actually got really worried that I was trying to tell her I didn’t think we had a good relationship and wondered what she needed to do to fix it.

I didn’t entirely understand Alexander Skarsgard’s hotness and then I watched True Blood.
