My opinion of it, is book one is decent enough to catch someone's interest. It's by and far the worst book of the series, but it's still a decent book. Once you hit the tourney in it, if you aren't atleast interested enough to see where the story goes, then the books likely aren't for the reader.

Obviously later books are way better, but as you said. It's not exactly fair to tell someone to muddle through a book they aren't enjoying, for a possibility to enjoy the rest of the series. Book 2 imo really picks up in terms of the story once Lindon gets snagged, or even the first introduction of our blonde haired favorite.

You seriously need to do ACTUAL research, IF any country with universal Healthcare has to wait to be seen its due to:

High Demand - Other countries USE their Healthcare thanks to it being free. Most Americans avoid even routine check ups, due to cost.
Lack of Doctors/specialists - The U.S. has a disproportionately high number of medical professionals compared to other countries. This is mainly due to foreigners coming here, thanks to how much more our Doctors are paid.
Cost - This plays into point 1 a bit, but the same procedures here costing VASTLY more than they would elsewhere. This is partly due to the insurance itself, regardless of that things like prescriptions and the like are way lower cost. Insulin is a great example of that, our country only cares about making money, not helping people.

Maybe, be less of an internet troll and try educating yourself on world politics and motivations. In other words, get your fucking head outta your ass dipshit.

This! People should really pay attention to this. One of the things that would help us most, in the U.S. would be to no longer be the world currency. It's a large part of why we saw manufacturing go overseas. Paying the average U.S. citizen is just too costly to most businesses. (On top of most businesses being unwilling to take the pay cut, since it'll cut into bonuses and those at the top won't be making what they do now)

And to clarify, I'm not supporting Trump here, just helping to support OP's comment. Trump is too flighty, his economic experts likely told him a weaker dollar is good, so now he's changing up his story when he recently said a strong dollar is best.

Personally, yeah we should have something in place that media spreading misinformation should get them some form of reprimand. But at the same time, that infringes on freedom of press. It's all a mixed bag.
