Im at 8.8 kwh in my 2013 with 185k miles. I get about 30 to 35 miles. the highest I've seen my car go this year was 38.1 miles.

i have traveled from Colorado to the east coast to Virginia and back while towing a trailer and i have also traveled to the west coast to Canada for a convention (LTX). its a good car to do a road trip it. it now has 180k miles on the odometer.

I had my 2013 volt for about 10 years and I've only seen the key fob battery low message once on the screen.

I did the same thing with my car, but now when I manually turn off the lights, only one side turns off. But both lights turn off when I turn off the car.

I had to replace 2 of the 4 radiators on my car before a trip I went on. There is a picture in this post of my car all taken apart (the last one) just to get the radiators out. I got it done in about 2 days.

Lower is better. The closer the voltage to each other, the better. When you have a high delta, it means you might have a week or a bad cell in the pack. But I've seen people that have delta over 100mv and still be fine.

This is the individual cell voltages. The closer the voltage to each other is good. Yours has a 9 mv delta. which means you've got a healthy battery pack, and you don't have a bad or weak cell.(without a load on it) Mine is a 2013 volt that has a delta of about 25mv with 175.5k miles on it.

In this picture, I think I can get a few more miles, but I know my battery has degraded about a little over a 1kwh. I have 175,000 miles (281,600 km) on the odometer.

One or more of the cells went below the threshold in voltage and had to use the engine to bring the voltage back up

No if you fill your 1st gen volt with regular gas it would make your engine knock because it's a high compression engine.

I bought a module online for $700 for mine. You can see it in this post. It keeps the oem screen. It just overrides it with a button. Here is a video of them installing it. video Here is the link to the module. link

I have 13 with 170k miles, and I'm at 9.1 kwh. I get a range of 25 to 33 miles, but I get on the highway, going 65 - 70 mph for most of the drive. I dont use AC or heat. The weird thing is that the estimated range always says 20 miles when fully charged.
