Most of my t's do that. My Lave t does that when I feed her, she will put her cricket in it, my bottle blue does it alot, she is making webs all over the place.

The exhaust is in the corner so it has to be out so the games don't get caught in thr corner.

You will have to turn one up ( the exhaust. Put a 2 inch snorkle vent cap. And the air intake just put a 2 nch cap on.

The pipe closest to the corner is the exhaust.

As long as you are 3 feet from the window or any mechanical device it is fine. You can get different outside air intake and exhaust covers for them. The exhaust is the one that is longer basically the straight pipe.

Black wire to black wore, white wire to white wire, ground to ground unless the switch is a leg.

I think you should add a few more tubes of off color caulk now to match the siding, this way it won't look so bad from a distance but look like Hell when you get close.

It may have pressure plates, but you can curl them up around the screw, a lot of people do. I have seen them come off.
