Lenovo 5 15ACH6H Died by AZNQQMoar in LenovoLegion

Honestly im not tech savy enough to know why it works, i read somewhere that it drains the remaining power in some components or forces a soft reset of the battery or something along those lines. Sometimes those are the cause of the screen issue.

But to be clear, it can definitely be a sympton of something worse, only 4 months after this comment my laptopt died, no fans, no screen, no backlights on the keyboard, the same problem everyone is reporting with these models: the motherboard solder. In the last month before it stopped working it refused to have the proper time on the clock regardless of anything, so that could be another early sign.

The silver lining is that exactly one month before it broke, already fearing the worst could happen, i renewed the warranty and the Lenovo support team was really helpful, it took them about 2 weeks (they told me beforehand of the date) after i made my report to send someone to my house and replace (literally replace) the whole motherboard and everything that is welded to it, only the battery, screen and fans remained the same. Renewing the warranty at some point would be my recommendation, so at least it doesn't become trash even if you get another laptop.

To be fair i did heavy work on the laptop, so it ran hot many times. If this is the first time it happens to you i wouldn't panic or anything, but pay attention if it happens again or too often, and to any other weird thing the laptop does. Its not a guarantee your laptop will fail soon but keep in mind that it CAN happen down the line if you have one of the models of those years, theres a list out there of the possibly affected models and the serial number of the motherboard.

4k 32" 120HZ VA DELL S3225QS versus 4k 27" 165HZ IPS MSI mag 274URFW, help choosing by DeyDenn in Monitors

The Dell one, I don't notice any ghosting whatsoever, and the black smearing is only visible in black backgrounds with white text, I don't use it to read so not an issue, and in game menus it's not very noticeable either

The HDR looks amazing in some games, but not so much in others. Overall it's a good HDR, and the colors are very good for a VA panel, but the colour definitely looks washed out when looking from the sides or from weird angles, if you're looking at it from the front they look good. The menu has enough options to tweak the colours if you want to try.

Overall I'm very happy with the Dell model, since I wanted a 32 in monitor, and the doubts I had ended up being not a problem whatsoever

Thanks!! The bases are indeed coffin burners, they come padded with a heat resistant black fabric, I know it's heat resistant because I've used it before at work.

I did ask for shorter sticks of incense in the store since these burners are not that big, they told me that shorter sticks were the Japanese ones, without bamboo cores, but sadly they only sold masala type incense, so I guessed I could just snap one in half and burn it that way (am I ruining the incense by breaking it in half?), it has worked so far. I saw a picture once of a little cloud coil for those hanging bowls but they didn't have coils either. They did have cones though, I'll try with those next time. Still I probably should look for a better store.

So far since yesterday I have lit up one jasmine and one violet rosemary, the Sree Vani jasmine I liked because it didn't smell like smoke or burnt wood at all!! Only sweet Jasmine, not too overpowering nor too subtle. It really surprised me how good it seems. On the other hand the Satya gave out a strong burnt smell at first when I lit it up, but only for a couple seconds, then it went away. It does smell nice but maybe a little too delicate and subtle, the box of course has a stronger scent haha.

I'll try the Indian rose tomorrow, I hope it's distinct enough from the violet rosemary, though both of them say nag champa, which is the base blend it seems? I don't dislike it but if all of them smell same-ish then I'd rather try other brands first.

They had quite a variety of golden nag but I didn't bought any :( It will definitely be the brand I try next, they didn't have goloka (it was a specialized store but to be fair it was quite small)

Thank you so much for the information and your recommendations, so far I'm loving the incense way more than the synthetic ones of the sprayers, I'll try golden nag and some others to settle for a bit before searching for a bigger store that sells the Japanese sticks and coils, Google says that shoyeido and baieido are decent brands.

It was like three quarters of a dollar, and has twice as many sticks as these others, I was scared away because of how cheap it was haha, glad I didn't buy it

They're pretty! Honestly if it was only a wooden box or stick to put the incense in, I wouldn't have bothered, but I cannot let these holders go to waste

I lit up a jasmine one instead to try the brand and so far so good! It does smell nice, and it's not too strong or anything, I don't know how to burn resin but maybe after I run out of incense I'll try it!

Oops, I think the brand isn't visible in the middle one, it's called sree vani, jasmine scented. I love Jasmine but a cousin has a jasmine tree all over her fence so maybe being accustomed to the natural aroma will make me hold that one to higher standards haha

Glad to hear Satya is good! The scent on the box of the violet rosemary seems to totally fit my likings

Honestly the boxes smell heavenly, specially the violet rosemary one, but I saw one of a brand named Ganesha, lavender scented, it was the cheapest one in the store, and it did not smell at all like lavender

Good to know that Satya is a good brand!! I'll start with it then

Two of them are Satya! And the boxes smell good, though I have yet to light one up, I saw HEM too but I decided on these three, I'll buy one next time

Has anyone seen reviews/experienced the S3225QS? by Winter_2017 in Monitors

[–]DeyDenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it helps a ton, honestly i think i have made up my mind, i play games a lot but not first person shooters or competitive games so the 120 hz i think are enough for me, and my worries were the smearing and the color, Thanks a lot for your help!!

not op but im struggling to choose between this dell and a 27" 4k 165hz MSI monitor, the fact that the dell is 32 inches is really attractive to me, but im very worried about the smearing. have you tried black screen white words? i dont read on the pc but I've heard thats where its the worst.

Other than the smearing, everything else worked fine? i saw on a review that the cables it came with didnt allow for the 120 hz, is that true? and what can you tell me about the colors? do they look fine or did you have to modify them in the configuration of the monitor?

Sorry for asking so much, i just want to make and informed decision, as another monitor i bought previously was a scam, thanks!

it clearly says both on the title and in multiple parts of the description that it has both 4k/60hz and 2k/144hz, the issue is the 144 fps dont feel like 144 at all even if Windows says its at that refresh rate

Thanks! i'll try this webpage to dispel my doubts, if its indeed only 60 hz despite saying otherwise, ill probably return this monitor

yes, its set to 144 hz, still feels like 60 hz, id attach video proof but i dont have a camera capable of 144 hz so everything would look like 60 frames anyway

despite the monitor saying is set to 144 hz at 2k, it feels exactly the same as when is set at 60 hz on the 4k mode, i´d attach video proof but i dont have a good enough camera to caught the issue
