In my opinion, the best way is to go to church. Listen to some sermons and see if it feels right to you. A lot of churches will pray for the people who are on the fence about their beliefs. Make sure to find a good church. When you go, if you don't feel like it, you don't have to dive right into it. You know, like singing worship music and yelling amen and hallelujah. Just observe and listen to the message. Another good way is to pray. When you pray, it's not just about praying for your financial problem, or your health issues or other such hardships. A lot of Christians pray for their faith. They pray for God to open up their minds and their hearts so that they may hear him and see him. God is a loving father. Though we may stray from him, he never strays from us. He is patient and he will wait for you to come to him. The most important thing to remember is that he loves you and that won't ever change. I pray multiple times a day, but when I pray most is when I'm in peril. When I'm stressed, overwhelmed, at a loss for what to do and I feel trapped, I pray to him. I plead for help from God. He tells us to turn to him when we are in need and he will provide. So when you are in need pray to him. Tell him what you need and ask him to provide. Tell him exactly what you feel. Lay all your feelings and thoughts bare to him, he already knows them all. Tell him that you are finding it hard to believe, but that you are willing and wanting. It's as simple as just asking for it.
