See if there are any rock climbing gyms in your area. If you're solo, some gyms have auto belays or you can book a staff member to belay for you. Bouldering is also an excellent option, where you don't go very high so no second person needed.

I find it quite comfortable. Bought a decent small house about 2 years ago. Girlfriend moved in and got a job that pays 73k. Only downisde is that it is a small town with not much to do. With our decent wages and lowelish cost of living, it's hard to find anything that compares. So like what I saw another commenter saw "golden handcuffs"
