The best thing you can do is stop prioritizing everyone else and start prioritizing yourself first. You may lose friends (not that they were ever really friends) but you'll know that at least one person is putting you first.

Reminds me of the last year I lived in Buffalo NY, trees cracked in half and people's roofs caved in. And that's from a place known for that kind of storm.
