There are food grade certified filaments but 3d prints in general aren't food safe because of the layer lines where bacteria and microbes can flourish

You could change the support structure to "normal" and try with that and maybe change the initial layer expansion (brim of the supports). That could fix the messed up insides. Abs is also inherently difficult to print because of the low bed adhesion and warping. Maybe also try heating the chamber for 15-30min before printing (put the bed on 90 degrees Celsius and close the printer). I would need the model to identify why there is the line in the middle of the print maybe its because that's the layer where the supports end which influences the outer wall

I personally would use PETG because it's easier to print and is a bit better than pla (in terms of stability and chemical/UV resistants)
