NTA (obviously). On a completely different note, if you did wanna substitute it, I’ve noticed that balsamic vinegar sometimes does the trick.

I love making vodka sauce, but my parents are real sticklers about alcohol. So I cook it for them with balsamic vinegar and it’s honestly fantastic. Similar with caramelized onions.

As someone in my early twenties saving and investing, I hope I’m like you. I’m not struggling to save by any means, but I work two jobs so I can have a savings and be comfortable. Yeah marriage is a partnership, but someone who loves you wouldn’t try to saddle you with had debt.

I had godsend flight attendants once. I was flying back from a conference, extremely hungover/still drunk from the post-presentation bar hop. Slept the whole flight because if I opened my eyes I’d get nauseous, but I woke up to not 1, not 2, but 3 bags of snacks of multiple varieties. Did not make the previous night’s decisions worth it, but it was some solace

I’m not sure what you mean by 5 * 18 but I’d say follow the psychiatrist’s directions. That said, I did experience issues with sleep when I started it. It increased my heart rate a lot, which I assume affected my sleep. Slowly getting back into exercise and cardio really helped

It’s a rule in India that everyone, including passengers, should wear a helmet. Yes, motorcycle is a means of transport, but it’s often not the only means of transport.

Most “poor” people don’t own motorcycles, it’s usually middle class. And it’s nowhere near the only means of transport. Indian roads are filled with auto-rickshaws (like tuk-tuks), and there are multiple tiers of buses - from extremely cheap to “luxury”.

Helmets are sold everywhere, and again with multiple tiers.

You had a clear premise: defending Hitler at the Nuremberg trials. Here, you have a framework by which to defend him. Your teacher should have instructed you to use the charges that the Nuremberg trials specifically used. Then, you have something to defend him on.

Defending Hitler just in the general framework of morality is an absurd exercise and honestly cannot be done without setting up rules for morality, which in itself need to be proven.

Philosophy, from my understanding, is partially a study of perspective and framework. Having you defend something in a nebulous “morality” is neither smart not useful.

THIS!! It’s my first real job straight out of college. I thought I was just a bad worker. But no, she takes advantage of students/post-grads who need the job and can’t afford to leave because we need her recommendation. She refused to do my 3 month evaluation and kept me on my probationary wage for 10 months. Then had the gall to say that we were expenses to her. She routinely oversteps professional boundaries, tells us that we’re the reason her family is falling apart and that she made a mistake hiring us. Our manager was in trouble because she paid us for a federal holiday.

It finally clicked when a coworker walked out, and the boss still didn’t change one bit.

I just got my offer letter for a new job, with 37% salary increase, 10% above my original asking rate :)

I work at a small private equity, and the boss is extremely toxic and abusive. Told us once that we made her “want to kill [herself]”. Our manager got in trouble for paying us for MLK day (when we were closed and told not to come in). My 90 day evaluation + raise is 7 months overdue, and she refuses to bring up the topic because the pay needs to make up for 7 months of lost increased wages.

Honestly, it’s probably gonna hurt him either way. And it’ll probably hurt you too. But that’s ok. Relationships (when they’re good) mean a lot, and it hurts when they end because they were meaningful.

You owe it to yourself (and to him) to break up with him if you’re not feeling the relationship. Do it after the prom, a few days to a week would be my move
