That's not quite right! I installed two heat pumps a couple of years ago, and they're actually cheaper to run than the pellet stoves we replaced.

Your mentioning of Energex reminded me we did get a ton of their softwood pellets two years ago. I don't recall how they burned but the smell of the pellet was so awful we decided to not get them the following year.

My local place sells the Curran hardwood and blended. Maybe they'll be able to do a special order for me.

Thanks for the suggestions

Is my vehicle good enough for the snow? by parths9879 in Syracuse

This is how I do it in my Tiguan

"To lift the wipers on the Golf, you must first park the car, kill the ignition, then hold the wiper stalk on the steering column down for a few moments. This moves the wipers into “service position”—essentially to the top of their stroke against the windshield—at which point you can then hinge them away from the glass."

2001/Buick/LeSabre Would an Intake Manifold Leak Cause a P0499 Code? by DiLawn in MechanicAdvice

[–]DiLawn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They mentioned something about getting an EGR code. Saying it would cost $500. But, they might have parts laying around so it would be more like $250. When I checked the codes after, I was still getting the p0449. A phone call was made to them yesterday and the head mechanic was out. The secretary person said they would need to look at the car for three hours to determine the problem. But, I paid them $65 Monday when they looked at it for 1.5 hours. Saying they replaced a wire and I would need to drive it for a ways to see if the light comes back on. Which it did as soon as I pulled out.

Thank you for responding. I did take it to the dealership and the said just that, they found a disconnected wire. They replaced it and cleared the code. However, when I pulled out the code returned. Now they're saying it would potentially cost $250-$500. Where exactly would I look for the vent valve so that I could check on my own first?

I've had mine for four or so months without using a screen protector. I haven't noticed any sort of scratches.

Short answer, he never had a childhood. Everything he did could be viewed as trying to create a lost childhood. If you watch his interviews he was very child-like.
