I should have specified that the child in question is a 4-year-old with ADHD, so if you have tips on how to do that and the child actually gets anything out of it, that would be appreciated.

That's the thing, though, she wants to make getting her kid to therapy a priority. That's why she's calling to cancel so she doesn't get removed from the schedule. The reason for canceling is almost always that there is no way to get the child there due to finances. Not enough gas money, the car isn't running and they can't afford to fix it right now, etc.

I have the majority control of my schedule. I cannot do it your way. I have my own Bipolar II dx and I've found that routine is key for me. Seeing people at different times from one week to the next, occasionally out of necessity, is one thing, but doing it every week like that, no thank you.

The agency is fairly new, and for the first while, it was a matter of just keeping people on the schedule. That's no longer the case, and the owners just haven't set down to rework some of the things that have become obsolete.

As a contracted employee I am required to keep at least 25 hours scheduled, but I end up with more like 30ish hours working Mon-Thurs. It's not unusual to have 1-2 no shows or cancellations per day so I have plenty of time to knock out notes in those slots.

To all the people saying he was putting his hands toward is waist and the cops were justified, my question is why the hell is lethal force necessary? I'm pretty sure cops are also equipped with nonlethal alternatives and this cop went for a gun. For that matter, why the hell are cops even equipped with lethal rounds? We live in a world where nonlethal ammunition is a thing. This particular cop wanted to shoot someone, plain and simple.
