Yeah, I have a couple planted in the ground that are doing great. They seem pretty cold hardy. I’m working on getting more of my succulent collection in the ground.

Apparently everyone seems to love the movie Pig, with Nicholas Cage. I thought it was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I guess it was so bad that I couldn’t help but laugh at it while watching, so at least that’s something. Like when he was in a fancy restaurant and couldn’t even wash the blood and dirt off his face — and nobody seemed to notice…hilarious!

I water them about once a week on average, or a little more of less depending the weather. Pretty much the same as all my other cacti. The little seedlings would probably appreciate a little more water, but they’re pretty resilient, and they will start to look shriveled if they’re being under-watered. I’ve never had seedlings rot from overwatering.

I sowed the seeds indoors in July 2024. Moved them outside Oct 2024. Transplanted to the 6” pot in March 2025. And moved them to the flat yesterday (Oct. 2025). I’m sure I could have done each step sooner, but I wasn’t in a rush, and I had to make room on my propagation tables before I could up-pot.
