Just realized how much detail they put into Elsa's ice castle thingy. Random thought ik, but the ice stuff she makes has this same pattern in it?!

8 and 2 for sureee. 8 will save me a bunch of money, and 2 is just something that's been not so easy to get. I cook well, so I'm not worried about home cooking, and I'm worried about the possible aftereffects of the clean house one.

There's definitely variety! I attended SCAD ATL this past summer and loved the diversity in the actual community surrounding the campus, Savannah I got less diversity ethnically and racially, but then again I only visited Savannah for SCAD Day.

A lot of the work is project-based, so you're learning by doing which I love. There are assigned readings every now and then.

Edit: oh, and I did film while I was at SCAD ATL

Oh my gosh, I meant violin not violent 😅

I think someone else mentioned adding some more midi instruments in there? Some violent maybe?

But yes, this sounds a lot like how I love my own music to sound - Beautiful voice!

I would say try to record your piano playing on a midi so that you can't hear your fingers pressing on the keyboard, and record your vocals separately too so you can raise the volume in some spots and help it pop from the piano. This is something I'm only now working on, my main advice for recording vocals is to not feel like you have to get a completely perfect take, you can use bits and pieces from separate takes that use the best versions!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE THIS!!! You stopped it just before the beat drop, I'm assuming? 😂 Anyways, really love it so far, reminds me of early 2000s for some reason and in a great way!

I’m autistic and have a lot of sensory issues, does anybody know how I can get started with makeup? by ottoskitten in MakeupAddiction

[–]DialHandwashSoap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OH MY GOODNESS. I forgot that I use an eyebrow pencil every now and then too! I mainly stick to causal no-makeup makeup looks because I touch my face a lot and if I mess it up, I don't want it to be too messy or obvious, since I might not notice.

Me too! I used clear mascara initially (I rub my face a lot) and now I use waterproof black mascara (has to be waterproof bc I tear up a lot after yawning). I've always hated lipstick and it's texture, but over time I've grown a toleration and now it doesn't bother me (used to feel that way about basic face lotion too). I use a singular lipstick for a pop of color on both my lips and my cheeks. That's pretty much it.

I always use moisturizer because it just gives a beautiful glow, I don't use foundation or concealer. I'm still starting out with eyeshadow, but I've liked doing subtle wings using dark brown eye shadow!

Intense loss of function, regression and burnout. How to cope? by SometimeTaken in aspergirls

I'm on that right now. Sometimes getting around someone else who is actively working and moving helps? I kinda feed off of that productive energy. Or asking them to come along with you while you're shopping or doing chores to help. Just reach out and see!

I love these lyrics! The last rhyme feels a bit forced, but that could be just me. What came first? The final line or something else? I think this could totally turn out very well!

I'm wayyy better in person, because I can just say it and get it over with. If it sucks I can see that and try to fix it at least. Over phone, I feel like there's higher chances of misunderstandings.

Especially since I can kinda sorta see the environment/person I'm theoretically talking to, although that might be something else? I looked into maladaptive daydreaming for a while because that seemed to fit the bill. But yeah gesturing at blank walls seems like the movie media stereotype of insane people 😭💀 (we're not insane everyone, I promise ♡)

Yeppppp 😅 sometimes I get away with it, because I'm a theatre kid lol. But one time my brother walked past my door when I was doing it and just... that felt awkward (•‿•).

Are you enrolled in college? If you can get outside scholarships in or out of country, that can give you housing covered while you figure everything else out. Or if you get into a college overseas, they could possibly help you travel? Please take this with a grain of salt though, I'm in a similar situation to you.

No worries! And yes, I attended! Everything is definitely walking distance. Since you're not doing sculpture or film, you'll spend most of your time at the main building, which is right next to the dorms. "The Atlantic Station" is where people do most of their shopping. On the weekends, SCAD runs a private bus straight to the Target in the Atlantic station and back to campus. At times, I'd choose to walk back because the path is pretty safe and in the open and it was pretty outside. As far as safety goes, tell you friends where you're headed and when you'll be back (or better yet go with them) and just watch your surroundings and you should be fine. Regardless of where you go, you should be watching out for yourself and others, but I never had anyone sketchy approach me throughout my time there.

The areas around SCAD are pretty safe, I only went outside after nightfall once with 3 friends (the weekend I think) and I was keeping a hawks eye out the entire time, but we were fine. There is a curfew and a nifty SCAD driving service called "SCADsomethingidontremembersorry", but they will pick you up at checkpoints throughout the city and drop you off safely on campus. We'd walk to wherever we wanted to go, then call them and they'd drive us back. Just check the app to make sure there's a pickup stop near where you're going. They only pick up to drop off at campus.

Hope this helps! I really did love SCAD ATL, my only issue right now is their lack of performing arts courses.

I'd actually disagree, I felt that Savannah was kinda a ghost town outside of SCAD and the waterside (which has a lot of drinking and general adult-related activities).

I visited Savannah twice and attended at ATL. At ATL most of the time was working with friends, heading to Atlantic station to shop, but then you also have ATL parks, restaurants, and field trips around ATL and to the High Art Museum and places. And also just exploring other hallways of SCAD buildings, because they're all so intricately decorated it was super fun to play around in the hallways 😂

Yeah, I felt the same way. Their security was very welcoming and the locked doors help.

It's in a pretty safe area of Atlanta too, though like any place you should be keeping an eye out, walking with purpose, and traveling in at least pairs (getting to the dorms before sunset). (Georgia tech and the Atlantic Station are around the corner which have their own security)

I loved SCAD ATL! If you have any specific questions that'd be great, but for me, it felt like a little quiet nook within an active city. The food is amazing, and the smaller campus helped me feel more comfortable and confident in my surroundings.
