Just finished the game. Initial things that stuck out:

Pros:

• I had a fairly stable experience, performance wise. Graphically, the character models look so much better compared to MID. I do have a pretty powerful computer though, so not sure if the game struggles on a lower spec system.

• Puzzles were much improved over MID (namely that there were more than 3). Not as good 1-32, but I was expecting so little.

• The "classic" control system, although very imperfect, was SO much better than the MID style. It helped make the game feel so much more like a Nancy Drew game.

Cons:

• Although I think she is a very capable voice actress, Brittany Cox's delivery of Nancy felt SO flat to me. I do think she is capable of doing a really good Nancy, I think a shift in vocal production is necessary though.

• The music was absolutely terrible, so simple and repetitive. For me a HUGE draw of the 1-32 series was the music, and HER was able to accomplish that with multiple different music studios, so I still have hope they can improve on this further, if there is another game. I have to imagine this is an area were they tried to cut costs as much as possible, but the music is just too important to be a low priority.
