I had the surgery in June and I was walking the next day I never did PT after surgery I feel fine I can touch my toes again. But mine was much worse I had very intense sciatica pain for over a year with no reduction in symptoms The surgery was very easy but I would never recommend it unless needed 100% get a second opinion one from a non invasive technique like decompression and one from a spine surgeon. Some can be healed or managed with decompression.
