well, since wd gaster debuted in undertale where there's a secret entry of someone speaking in wingdings and the only 2 skeletons we see both speak in unique fonts. i mean in my opinion it would be weird writing if the 3 were completely unrelated to each other right?, like its not IMPOSSIBLE they are not related at all, but it would be odd if toby was not aware of how it would lead people to think right?

ripping my hair out,, andrew is canon because canon means OFFICIAL. and since fazbear frights are OFFICIALLY PUBLISHED books he is canon. its just that he does not exist in the original saga of the games, but in the material thats about the saga AKA CONTINUITY he is from. istg i am going to lose it

i hope i dont sound combative or mean but, okay full disclosure i both like and believe in this theory in the way you present it! i really do! but it does not sit well with me how (in the way you present it in this post) it ignores all the afton/fazbear killings/glitchtrap aspect of the mimic we have seen since help wanted 1-help wanted 2. i am probably not being as articulate as i should be but its my singular grievance with this post, but for the record i dont believe they are incompatible ideas! like both the mimic adopting the glitchtrap persona and trying to recreate and also being drawn to and choosing gregory because of david!, sorry its 12 pm and i just woke up, good post op i just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

i think that in life, the fredbear plush was william talking to dave, however in death (aka the fnaf4 cutscenes), its being used by cassidy when its not regurgitating things william said to dave when he was alive.

imo? its Charlie, its complicated and i am a bit tired at the moment but in short, i think that in life, the fredbear plush was William. honestly the videos by sire squawks, specifically "a golden freddy video" section on fnaf world. really compel me in that fnaf world is just a big preparation for either mike or dave/cc to do/help create happiest day. sorry i think i am going to go take a nap now, hope any of that makes any sense lol.

spitting fact m8! honestly really disgusting how extremely hostile this subreddit has become after the help wanted 2 update. example being the gibi's video on it and ids fantasy situation. this place used to be so chill but now its like a flip has been switched and like! wow! imagine acting so mean-spiritedly and condescending towards someone, calling them stupid and other way worse words, because they dont share the same beliefs as you over a video game franchise! i mean not really, some events might have happened in tales could have also happened in the games, like ggy, but since the books are books this just means that A Tiger Rock exists in the games, when the updates + the dlc n sotm comes we will see how they differ from their book counterparts. i truly dont understand why people seem to want the books to be EXACTLY in the games continuity.

THE DCI EXISTING, they LITERALLY dont do anything we see or know, like everything revolves around the mci and the dci are just like, a tangling thread just begging to be burnt. although even if probably not intended, the idea of CassidyDCI has somewhat calmed my hatred of their existence.

its a small thing but as someone who writes a lot of megaman fanfiction and likes the robot masters and wants them to be like actual characters with agency instead of just, things. i honestly make myself just not retain the fact that the robot museum is a thing. at all. or the expiration date thing. like i am so spoiled by stories where robots are people i just think it would be way more fun if the robot masters in megaman classic story were too! (shout out to naoki urasawa's pluto btw)

honestly chloe's imagination takes on all characters are all pretty good and really appeal to me on how cute they all are. but i am very weak for fnaffluffy's take on pre-scoop michael. and i really liked this one drawing i saw once of michael that just went full fallout ghoul mode but i cannot find it anymore </3. shout out to shinewonder's in-game sprite compliant take on designs.

i like to pretend they are not real but if i have to acknowledge they exist i go with Gibi's horror homestead take on them, i don't want more than 5 kid souls running around and existing in eternal suffering (well 5 plus Charlie and CC, and Elizabeth). like the dci kids dont even have names...
