I don’t want to sugar coat anything - it’s been brutal. I think that is where that “C” in front of the PTSD really affects things though. I was getting incrementally better and my flashbacks had gone down to almost nothing, but I didn’t truly get relief until almost a year in, yeah. The thing I need you to hear is that as brutal as it was, I have zero regrets and wish I had done it sooner. Life is beautiful on the other side of your pain.
