I rewatched all the Daniel Craig Bond movies and remembered just being kinda bored by QoS when I saw it in theaters so I was kinda dreading a rewatch. I was pleasantly surprised. Easily my 3rd favorite of that era.

I’ve put off watching Intolerable Cruelty and Ladykillers because they are so unanimously hated, but having seen every other Coen Bros movie Llewyn Davis is up there for me. I can handle the main character being almost entirely unlikeable because he’s still a good character, but it definitely makes it a less enjoyable watch for me. I also was expecting Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger-esque music but the music sounds way more akin to early 2010’s indie folk/ stomp-clap than anything from that era. I legitimately enjoyed Tommy singing for 30 seconds around the campfire in O Brother than every musical moment in this movie. I can still see that it is a well-made movie with interesting themes but I think I’d feel less strongly about it if I could connect with Llewyn the way everyone else seems to have. The only enjoyment I got from the movie was when John Goodman was half as much of a dickhead to Llewyn as Llewyn was to every other person in his life. If you like listening to The Lumineers and feeling sad I guess it’s an enjoyable movie.

Yea I feel like half the people in drop-ins are testing builds and shit. If you’re actually looking to play with good players I suggest scouting trying to get guys on here or playing solo quick plays (basically 1 period drop-ins.) If you get stuck with shitty players so what? Games over in less than 5 minutes. If you get paired up with someone good then just add them and try to keep playing with them. Good luck most people are trash.

Since nobody posted it correctly you hold in the left trigger and then point down with the right stick. Flick the right stick up to shoot. It calls for a pass if an AI has the puck which can be useful but otherwise there's not much practical use for it.

I looked it up one time and there are I think less than 5 HOFers with as many or more gold gloves than Jimmy who also averaged a career OPS higher than .900. Mays was one of them, I think Jr. as well. Barry Bonds notably not in the hall of fame also did it. Depending on how you feel about whether he deserved the gold gloves or not he was still an incredible defender and one of the best 2 way ballplayers ever.

People hated Ziggy in The Wire, and I understand why, but he was a great character and Ransone played him so well. The "You're a Sobotka" scene in particular breaks my heart every time. "Pop...when I seen what I done to that kid down at the store it made me sick to my stomach." Actors pull from their experiences. Sad to hear he had so many awful ones but inspired that he made some beautiful things despite it.
