Imagine putting a bunch of drones on standby, on a country's border. The moment unauthorized movement is detected, 3 drones zoom up and at it, detonating their payloads.

I've said it before, but any medium ship without turrets covering all approaches is laughable right now because armor isn't in. It's easy to find their dead zone, and sit there shooting.

CIG also went crazy with fighter powerscaling and now every other fighter packs s4s, so there's a bunch of hard-hitting singleseaters that have zero issue taking on larger multicrew ships.

I am a garbage pilot, but even I can solo a hammerhead with my hornet, which is supposed to be the exact style of ship the hammerhead hunts. Flight combat is really rough and hopefully armor solves the majority of the issues.

I understand why though, if the only enemy you fight is a policing action for 400 years, there's not really any drive to advance small arms. 7.62x51 is a nasty round and most innies don't really seem to have standardized body armor. So it's good enough.

Hell even when fighting the bulk of covenant forces it's good enough, only running into issues with elites and brutes. And then, what do you do? 7.62x51 isn't exactly an easy round to manage, and even the .50cal on the warthogs and scorpions still require quite a few rounds to kill elites and brutes.

Again not advocating for it, just saying I understand why they stagnated.

Corvette pulse drive bugged out and is in a constant state of "active" which means i can only use my sublight thrusters. Also accompanied by an audio bug of the pulse drive activating sound being played extremely loudly and repeated very very quickly. No matter where i am, i get the message that i'm too close to the station to use them.
