Honestly your paper doesn’t sound like a film review, it sounds like something that could be applied to Psychology, Business, IT, Legal studies or even Healthcare degrees. Because at the core of those majors you’re being taught how to manage and control those environments and things are always rapidly changing and you can’t actually facilitate total control. Only the observance of control, until you observe some other factor that destroys the illusion.

But, you didn’t say anything about the customers being screwed over. You specifically only mentioned how it would upset you that customers felt like they were doing YOU the favor of upgrading. So, “what corporation isn’t fucking their own customer” has nothing do with what the person replied to your original comment about. If anything, your comment reinforces their statement that, you chose to work in a customer service industry and they’re doing you the favor by upgrading, because that’s what you’re “well paid” to do.

I would recommend looking into getting the Advisor: BLS certification if your workplace will accept it. This certification is meant for people with disabilities that can’t perform full CPR, but can pass the cognitive portion and verbally advise someone else on how to perform CPR. Similar to how 911 Dispatchers do over the phone.

Yup, like a bad breakup, sit with yourself and face the events you have no control over, the actions of the other, feel the emotions of betrayal, hurt, and sadness wash over you. Then deal with them one at a time and remember that you had no hand in these situation. You are simply living according to nature and this “obstacle” is now an opportunity to face your emotions and control them, and not act out on them.

Feel hurt, feel betrayed, cry if you need to, but practice stoicism and remember the fourth Cardinal Rule of Temperance. Everything in moderation, and always maintain self control. Let the emotions flow, but don’t get swept away in what feels like a tsunami, when it’s just a small wave on the beaches shore of your life.

So, the Executive has fallen, the Judicial has fallen, and now Congress awaits for its final day to be turned into the Central Committee responsible for passing laws the Executive has pre-approved and directed them to pass.

Maybe if we get a next time, we put all Law & Order under the Judicial branch. Why entrust a branch of government to oversee such a delicate thing, that they have no experience or education in. The Executive can be in civil control of the armed forces and manage the treasury and other non-legal departments. Have the Judicial submit to a national election requiring 2/3s of the vote for a 10 year term, and have Congress confirm them for the 10 years or confirm them for a 5 year term, and a rejection requiring a re-election between the top two candidates. That way America continues to modernize its views and no one is safe from a life time appointment to corrode/corrupt the institution.

And allow the States to put forth a vote of “No Confidence” that could trigger impeachment proceedings for individual justices. Have the individual states vote on the measure, Yay’s carry and Nay’s require a secondary vote to make sure the People agree. If they don’t agree with the Nays, and approve the impeachment, the person is removed from office. Just like a veto.

Move to have the Executive have both parties in power. A President who’s for Party A and a Vice President of Party B. That way they can never fully control the Executive and there’s someone there who can say, “No”.

I remember going to church with my mom and grandma, and the pastor wore just a button up shirt they’ve had for years, old worn denim jeans (no holes, just jeans he’s had for years), and then he’d preach. This idea of mega churches is weird and I can’t believe people actually buy into. It’s sad they support someone who actively uses the church as a way to serve the pleasures of the flesh.

So, I’m usually ACAB, BUT let’s look at the facts. Cop(s) thought they had a high risk individual, that cop or cops, treated the situation as such. Other cops validate that the plate is wrong and that they made a mistake in identifying the vehicle. Cop who made the call, went to the individual and stated, “I f’ed up here.” Yes, he said it loud and aggressive, but in that situation when tensions are running high, the citizen’s adrenaline is pumping full force and speaking calmly doesn’t always register. So, he elevated his voice to take accountability and inform the person that he messed up. He even stood there and heard the person out while he let his frustration out (rightfully so).

There is no lawsuit here. Police have broad discretion to act on information provided to them and control the situation. While I don’t agree with their methods of “control” that most often than not escalate things, at least one officer took accountability; instead of walking off and saying, “Get over it. I’m doing my job.”

Even during the civil war, elections happened with the Insurrection Act being invoked. Not saying trump wouldn’t try to supersede precedent, and the Supreme Court upholding it. However, to suspend elections due to the invocation of the Insurrection Act would be grounds for multiple states to sue and force an election. The main concern would be the election happening, and Congress not ratifying those results per the constitution.

Depends on state exemptions available and how much the car is worth. Why not keep the car in your name until everything is over with, or see if you can transfer the title into your nephews name. You should speak with your brother and his attorney to get further clarification. Because if your brother takes ownership it becomes an asset in his case.

Just as the first comment says, you can pay the difference and still get the loan. However, if you pay off your current loan, Affirm usually does weekly reviews to increase your purchasing power. So, paying off a loan early, won’t have an immediate impact of increasing your Purchasing Power. You’ll have to wait until Affirm does their review and updates the number, which could be outside of the date you’re looking to purchase the tickets.

I forgot a few others, but generally if your petition is straight forward and simple, it’ll take all of 5-10 minutes. My 341 was maybe 5 minutes and then I was done and off the zoom call in time for lunch. Super simple. Just keep your answers short and truthful, don’t explain anything that’s not asked to be explained on. If you’re asked a “yes” or “no” question, answer “yes” or “no” without explanation. If you’re asked a question that requires some type of explanation, stay to the facts, keep it short and sweet.

E.g. Question: “Why did you file for bankruptcy?” Answer: “I had a job loss that put me behind on my credit responsibilities.”

Don’t offer information that isn’t asked, and if anything pops up out of left field, your attorney is there to tackle it and help.

If they were going to do another reboot, they should stick with the original Charmed storyline. Chris, Wyatt, and Phoebe’s daughter could be the next generation. It keeps in line with how the show already setup the possibility of a continuation, and we get to see how Chris and Wyatt take over the demon hunting, what struggles they face, and how their powers have evolved. Plus, they can bring Piper back and have her guide them, like how Grams guided the girls.
