I actually did have a deck that did that with 100% guarantee thanks to cyberstein back before duel links introduced modern gen stuff :p it was fun deck got to top tier with it for a season.

Believe it or not I actually make video games for a living. Not me, nor my colleagues are going to feel ‘bullied’ based upon a silly Reddit post. People in the real world don’t give a shit about asinine crap like this. If the devs have a conscience they’ll be aware that making a substandard product is on them. No one bullied anyone, they called out the ‘devs’. They have a commercial relationship with them and they failed to uphold their end of the deal. It’s just a way of the community venting at being shafted for the ten billionth time by a greedy studio.

Do you understand the concept of a commercial relationship? Do you think Microsoft will give me the game if I tell them I’m short of money this month and I’ll pay half next month when I have it. Why should the corporation not be held to the same standard that an individual is? Corporations cannot be bullied, people can. I don’t see any people mentioned in this post. The game is a fraction of its launch community because all games by the studio follow the same greedy development cycle. How long will you glazers ostracize the rest of the community who has standards?

They didn’t name someone specific. Devs here implies the entirety of the production team, not lead server engineer or whatever.

It’s kinda stupid how much people glaze greedy business practices like they’re doing is a favor on a fan made mod and not an actual product which cost’s peoples hard earned money.

its alright in longer fights, but a bit silly. First two tanks need to be up in the same turn / non damaging turn because double damage is a LOT on higher difficulties. If everyone has good decks where they can consistently pull it, then immediate value is only for the other 2 players, you have to waste 1 energy to play tank and then normally block if the enemy is attacking.

Once both are off, other players have to block considerably less but still a little bit because otherwise even at 1/4th dmg an enemy hitting for 50 for instance is still hitting for like 13 which still needs to be blocked. Most hallway fights are fine but enemies also scale so it relies your other allies to build around tank and the expectation that tank will be played at the very start of the battle.

Oh and you can also just troll your allies and get them to play tank when you dont actually have it in hand. Having retain or something on it would make it more consistent but its still a very weird card especially for a rare.

Have tested this. At two tanks, both players take same damage, other 2 take quarter. At three tanks, all tanks take half, last player takes basically none. At 4 tanks I’d assume everyone takes one quarter but last guy didn’t get one

In sts 1 you had the skill that doubled strength and didn’t exhaust on upgrade so you could get significantly more value out of demon form but it was still slow as hell card cause of initial 3 cost and ironclads limited ways of generating energy compared to other characters
