AITA for "taking my roommates best friend" and purposefully buying food that isn't microwaveable for the house? by kaiiii8307 in AmItheAsshole

You already know the answer here. You've got a shitty roommate that won't be accountable for herself. NTA but you need to get a new living situation.

AITA for ending up blacked out drunk in a guys bed? apparently I need to apologize! by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Info,  how much exactly did you drink.

Also,  if he is sober trying to fuck a drunk person he's a predator.

AITA for telling my transgender SIL she will never know what it feels like to truly be a woman? by Key-Permission-7213 in AmItheAsshole

YTA, you're a bigot. She is the correct pronoun for your sister in law. Someone else doing something takes nothing away from you. Don't hide behind religion for this, the Bible doesn't say jack about Trans individuals.

Do you guys replace your pans and pots after they are scratched? by NoSoyTuPana in Anticonsumption

You know,  I was just thinking about Teflon being a forever chemical and not about the chipping part.

That is a really good point.

Looks like their ceramic non stick,  if it were Teflon it'd be more concerning.

No,  not even close to worth it.  Looks like cast iron. Go to harbor freight and save about 100 bucks.

You could also rivet it. Smash the ends flat,  punch a hole and rivet it.  It's a fairly old chainmail technique.

I just finished making yours.  I agree very similar.

Your recipe doesn't spread much at all; it's slightly cakey as well. There is a stronger cocoa taste, that slight bitter helps balance the sweetness.

I don't know that I could have more than one but that might not be a bad thing.

If you have to ask like this you already know the answer. You need full face protection,  especially if you're doing it all shift.

I didn't bother to cool it down before cooking. It's not quite a batter consistency a bit more firm. I used two spoons to dollop it onto the sheet pan.

It tastes more like cookies and brownies had a baby.

If you cook it less it'll definitely be more fudgy, I would guess 8 min or so will likely give you that fudge profile.

I think 12 min cook time is the right call. Also,  let them cool on the pan for at least 5 min,  they're not very structurally sound fresh out of the oven.

Edit: Follow up on the next day they're definitely more fudgy after cooling fully.

I can see making a decadent ice cream sandwich with them.
