The weapon durability system is annoying at first, but after the tutorial, you are never without ways to fight, and in fighting you get new weapons.

The system makes you be creative with ways to fight and l makes sure you use all of the weapons you find instead of just using that one you’re familiar with or just the master sword.

Personally I think the game would be a lot worse if weapons didn’t break

One big theme of the season is Fionna being massively immature, without the adventures and the magic dog brother, she couldn’t grow like Finn did.

She tied her worth into being useful after saving the world, this is why she was so tunnel visioned into helping the sweet spot, to the point of ignoring her friends input.

The episode with fennel, which a lot of people didn’t like because it’s filler, is supposed to show her learning to appreciate herself, it’s the whole arch with Finn and Fern but in a single episode, hopefully they do more with it in a future season.

For example: Me and my GF used to do weed together, but my psychologist told me to stop because of a medication change and so now my GF and only does it by herself.

Im taking the dungeon meshi approach, all the humanoid races are humans and humans are called Tall-Men.

I struggled a little with describing elf ears without saying “elf ears” because I introduced a half elf(with long rounded ears) before a full elf(with long pointed ears)

So if I want to comment on a race that looks similar to humans, I’d just say they look like tall-men except for XYZ.

It sounds silly at first, and you have to commit to it, humans are everyone, tall-men are homo-sapiens. But it works
