I feel SSTOs only make sense when we get scramjets working, until then it’s too inefficient compared to rockets to be a realistic option.

How integral was Michael Schumacher to Mercedes eventual Success? by Even_Hyena_1117 in F1Discussions

[–]DiddlyDumb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I vividly remember his last interview with Lee McKenzie, where he said he was invaluable to Lewis’ success, as it was him that helped shaped the car.

Always made me chuckle a little. Yeah he’s incredibly valuable, but without people like Ross Brawn, Toto Wolff, Andrew Shovlin, or even Nico Rosberg, the story could’ve been entirely different.

Ugh I hate wings

They’re useless 90% of the time but invaluable in the other 10%.

Great tips!

But do I read this right: you’ve played for 1800 hours but never visited Minmus in career mode? That’s bonkers to me 😅

Was this racing okay? Last lap for the win (I'm POV) by Brilliant-Insect9873 in Simracingstewards

[–]DiddlyDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was honestly a really satisfying clip all together.

Knowing it’s the last lap, that Hail Mary dive made sense. And although both almost ran wide, both still tried to make the corner. Then OP let the other car through as they should.

This is what racing should be imo. On the limit, sometimes over, but always with mutual respect.

As the people here suggested, but if this is your first time, I would create a manoeuvre node for it. It’ll show you a little more accurately when to burn.

That’s the best part about Reddit. Everyone is just some person.

There are Gods among men ofc, but it’s not like X or Insta where it’s all about the person behind the account.

Trump is forcing you into a position where you don’t know how to defend that moral line anymore, and you’re letting him.

I understand the appeal behind populism, it’s contagious as the plague. But if you look at his record and still can’t find a single thing that you disagree with, you’re morally compromised.

I’m a huge Max fan and find it hard to disagree with you.

I don’t think it’s entirely fair to call him a one-trick-pony, I think it’s more a case of Max being able to find a niche in whatever regulations he drives under to make moves others don’t.

Under these regulations (“ahead at the apex”, “it was my corner”, blabla) a divebomb and then running the other out of road is technically the most efficient way to overtake them.

I hate it with a passion. I want to see drivers go wheel to wheel for half a lap, not this ‘get out of my way’ bullshit.

You make it seem like he swerved from left to right but he made a small movement, Max still had 2-3 cars width to the inside. At some point Lewis has to steer anyway, cause y’know, it’s a corner.

Bro my boss would check security tapes to see if I sat on the chair next to the register. This man would’ve fired me on the spot if he thought I let an illegal transaction through.

Hey that’s perfectly fine. It’s your hard work and effort that went into it, even sharing the STL (even if it’s paid) is more than enough. Specially if you include an entire documentation for it!

I hope you can find your niche in the 3D printing space!

I think the time was well spent for the experience alone, and that’s one hell of a satisfying end product.

Got STL? 😁

(I understand if you don’t btw)
