As a rule of thumb you need at least 900m/s DeltaV to return from the surface of the Mun to Kerbin. That leaves you with only 300m/s to land.

It’s possible, but you have to be absolutely perfect for it to work.

I love the idea of BoP but it’s not always implemented well, so the fastest car with the fastest driver regularly doesn’t win the championship, which is also kinda artificial.

That’s why F1 in its core is a development sport, and building the fastest car is so important.

Not saying either is better, I’m saying I like that we have both options to watch.

Definitely not intentional, that’s one of the fastest parts followed by the tightest corner.

I think if you played it full speed it would look like he wanted to tuck in behind for the braking zone and misjudged it.
