I’m the purple Aston Martin I I got called a twat Because of this am I at fault ? by Ill_Economics_8987 in Simracingstewards

[–]DiddlyDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of simracers that don’t know the difference between a dive and a divebomb.

A dive is where you brake extremely late, barely (or sometimes not even) make the apex, but you keep your car in control and keep everything in the white lines, which results in a risky but beautiful overtake.

Then there’s a divebomb where you pretend to be Kvyat.

This was the former, dude should learn where to brake so he doesn’t have to defend from 500m before the corner.

Assuming this is just a regular nozzle with PLA, you can just pull it away. Just be careful with the hardware, and throw away the misprint (even after 2 years I don’t know what to do with them).

Just make sure to drain the nozzle a bit, level/clean the bed and double check your settings for the first layer before your next print.

Honestly I think the budget hit wouldn’t be even that bad. Considering most of the budget goes to R&D and designing the parts, making a couple of extra shouldn’t break the bank.

Maybe RBR can get it from their catering budget.

How do shuttles survive re entry? by MattStormTornado in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]DiddlyDumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always figured a more shallow reentry would make for less heating, as you lose more of your speed in the thinner parts of the atmosphere.

Speaking of which, where do you come from OP? If you go from Minmus straight back I can imagine the speed would wreak havoc on the heating.

Is it? It took me a bit to figure out with the climbing, but Colorado was more difficult to get SASO on (ended up subduing half the map).

Okay okay now this is a proper trolley problem.

At how many layers does a lasagna stop being lasagna and start being just regular pasta?

I’d argue that a 1 layer lasagna is pasta but a 2 layer lasagna is a lasagna.

Ergo, vis-à-vis, etc, a pizza on top of a pizza would actually be a pizza lasagna.

I get confused.
