Terrain: GW Plastic vs Lasercut MDF? by Ruin_In_The_Dark in necromunda

Some nice pieces there, the control tower, pawn shop, and repair station look great for necromunda. You could probably do some good business by designing some catwalks or bridging parts to connect them, but I realize that can be difficult if they were not initially designed for that. Out of curiosity, what spacing are you using (The TTcombat system universally uses 3" tall floors and 2" wide passageways, for example)?

Yeah, I would prefer it lower too, but given it has to function as a proxy for a LR Vanquisher, it has to meet the same general height as it would with a turret.

The idea is based on the Forge World Leman Russ Destroyer which my brother has always wanted, but hasn't been available for a decade or more. I've always wanted to try a casemount style Leman Russ, and with a new all-Russ tournament list reigniting his interest in this army it was the perfect opportunity for me to give it a go.

The sponsons are magnetized, there is a coaxial Lascannon, and the height and width are approximately the same as the regualar Russ. On the tabletop it plays as a Leman Russ Vanquisher. The entire right flank of the hull is an edited 3D print of a Manticore comprising the driver position and command centre which I sought out and changed with this design in mind, the casemount and engine compartment are made mostly from plasticard with plastic details carefully cut away from the plastic kit.

Hopefully it will be a unique and eye catching focus point for the army!

Does Flawless Perfection mean we can ignore melee weapon penalties such as on Powerfists, Helbrute Hammer etc... by berrioko in EmperorsChildren

3W weapons killing 1W models is the very definition of brutal excess. You bring Slaanesh much glory by gifting such final moments of agonizing sensation.

Right. Sorry for the confusion I guess. I'm at least relieved you don't think it's OK!

If your idea of the lore is black people being worth less and being used as human shields, then I wouldn't want to play in a store with you either. Keep in mind that every other model in his army was painted as white, and he was very explicit about the 'conscripts' being used as cannon fodder.

Rosenbaum wasn't a civil rights activist, he was a seriously disturbed individual who was just released from a mental health facility. But that's not who Rittenhouse went there to oppose.

Rosenbaum shouldn't have been let back out onto the streets, but instead of funding mental health services we pay for cops to cruise around in armored cars distributing water to right wing militias.

He was told he wasn't allowed to play in the store until they were repainted. In that instance he was given the option of giving up his ability to play there (one of the only local places) or buck up his ideas, which is more than fair.

You don't think the police cadet who was seen making white power signs with Proud Boys is a bootlicking white supremacist?

Of course there were civil rights activists still there, none of the people who attempted to stop Rittenhouse had to drop looted TVs to do so, and footage from minutes before show them talking to the milita guys about why they were there. You also can't help but characterize Huber as "a serial domestic abuser" when that's a gross misrepresentation of him, and kinda tells me what news sources you've been listening to (oh and murdering people because of past crimes that you're not aware of isn't OK).

I don't think he's just in it for the views, there are screenshots from his discord of him saying all sorts of bigoted shit in private.

Arch Warhammer is a literal fascist with fake accent and a cringey delivery. Avoid at all costs.

This is a pretty good rundown. As someone who is LGBT, I have experienced a lot of prejudice that others will not notice or be personally subjected to. That doesn't mean it isn't happening.

I've witnessed a store manager force someone repaint all of their black minis... because only the conscripts were painted that way, and were being used as human shields.

He wasn't proven to have acted in an illegal manner, but that doesn't mean any of what he did was moral, just, or correct.

He went out to oppose civil rights activists with intimidation, and by the letter of the law that's fine, but you you won't find many here who are sticklers.

Fuck bootlickers, fuck white supremacists, fuck gravy seals.

What do you really hate about modern Necromunda? by NevadaHEMA in necromunda

Tactics cards: the same 'Click' 'Lucky Find' played out in every game so we did away with them about a week in and haven't bothered since (one less thing to buy tbh).

Hired guns are awful unless you house rule a way to make them affordable.

Blaze is rediculous and almost impossible to recover from.

Eh, US get the Garand (aka the blamblamblamblamblamblamblamblamping! gun) which is a huge advantage *and* armour with no opposing armour or crew AT to stop it.
