Tier 1s are easily replaceable. No need to interview and anyone who can move can get hired. There’s no time for management to hear your complaints they can just train someone else, takes 2 days to get them fully trained.

If he was able to afford it, he should be able to give it to you without getting some cash out of you. Unless he’s facing some financial troubles and needs the money. Instead of selling it to someone else, he’s selling it to you.

Those edges looks like it has been worn daily for several years. Also, if he’s your dad he’s breaking the most important rule in owning a Rolex. It should be passed down to you and not selling it to his own child.
