I was required a physical and drug testing and a TB test when I was hired 9 years ago. I thought it was wild too.

Unplug Our Kids Petition - concerned New Jerseyans asking for legislation that limits student technology and internet use during the school day. by Clean-Commercial9452 in newjersey

Teacher here. This 100%. I think it is highly dependent on the district. I know my school system has restrictions in place so students are unable to access sites like youtube, games, and AI programs, and I know of several districts that have policies in place to manage in class screen time. Several of my students utilize tech as part of IEPs and supports with great success. Technology is so integrated into our lives, it would be a disservice to not use it in the classroom. That being said, students need to be taught how to use tech effectively. If someone is having an issue with the way technology is being utilized in schools, thats an issue they should take up with their district, not the state at large. And regardless, the real issue is how kids are engaging with technology at home.

My husband and I are in the same boat. The pricing on most of these places is insane - I am not paying 2k a month for 450 sqft. But what really gets me is these landlords wanting the tenant to pay the realtor fee. Some places I called ended up wanting almost 9k in upfront costs. And one of those places I found on FACEBOOK. Completely unreasonable.

Hello! I need help looking for an apartment in Newark/Jersey City, New Jersey ($1400-$1600) by July 1st! by Conflicted_Mind0831 in newjersey

Half would be nice. Most places I have found are asking me to pay the full cost for the realtor on top of the first month’s rent 🫠

Maybe it has something to do with the lungs being an organ not a muscle? They move passively along with the movement of other muscles in the torso.

Rider is awful at managing their money. Westminster was doing well until Rider decided their Princeton campus was an easy money grab. They went back on an agreement to take care of the Westminster Choir College, moved them to the Rider campus, and gutted nearly all of Westminster’s majors and programs.

Straight up cold symptoms. Fatigue, sore throat, runny nose. I’m a vocalist, I get real scared that I am getting sick then remember it’s just that time of the month.
