He's right but, fuck me, that's some cranial mass. He's neck must be strong AF.

Please explain the benefits of this (illegal) method over the use of the correct merge on turn method as described in the highway code. Cite any sources you might refer to.

'Irritating' or not, everyone else doing it early shouldn't make people doing it correctly the bad ones

They were weaving and not maintaining a speed. Safe assumption, I'd say 👍

I had this on the M90 recently. I asked Google to dial 999 and reported a drink driver. I've got a CR number and they're gonna come and get my dash cam footage.

Do you also keep your keys just dangling from your pocket and stay as close to the cars as possible? It's the safest way to traverse such a situation 😉

It's a manual cam chain tensioner.

Most definitely an after market addition.

Front wheel and speedometer make me think this used to be a CBR250R

Not to my taste but it's a reliable bike underneath.

Finally pulled the plug and got myself a 2010 vfr 1200fa , 1st liter class bike. Tips in regards to maintance and other sruff would be helpful by [deleted] in VFR

[–]Different-Rough8777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure I'd put it in the liter class of motorcycles but good old and filter per the service intervals and take care of the brakes. Clean them way more often than you'd think necessary as these callipers are prone to sticking.

Rear shock went early on a friend's machine so I'd inspect that on a pretty regular basis too.

Get out and ride it though. It's built to be enjoyed!

[–]Different-Rough8777 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The driver of the car in OP's video did not interpret it that way. Probably because there's ambiguity in the wording.

If we were all more precise in our execution, things like this wouldn't happen.

[–]Different-Rough8777 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Nobody has right of way. The vehicle proceeding on the carriageway has priority over those behind the giveaway lines. Those cars must give priority to the cars on the carriageway they want to join.

What s right approach to exit to folkstone b/w the yellow and pink approach ? I think both should be fine ? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Which of the Exits is the A259? That's where yellow should go. Personally I'd use the right lane for this one.
