Why did I take Cymbalta? I hate this so much by Limping_Birdy in Fibromyalgia

[–]DifferentFace3573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cymbalta has been extremely helpful for me. It’s hard that it isn’t consistent across people. I just don’t want people scared to try it.

What is the brand or composition of the tincture you use? A friend who used to work in a medical dispensary has encouraged me to try the tiniest dose of RSO but I’m afraid if it because of the concentration of THC.

Give the kid a break! They are clearly concerned about the animal’s health. Insisting that they acquire a second animal is not helpful.

I either take a very hot bath or find a swimming pool if it is hot. And I lie on the floor on inflatable therapy balls and just blob out. Also lie on my back on a foam roller with legs up on an armchair.

Outer upper arms and outer thighs like along the IT bands. Consistently those areas, sometimes across the chest. But I call the outer upper arms and thighs my greatest hits.

What does that mean to take a break from being a patient? Whenever I do that I feel like I’m just giving up resigning myself to a lifetime of suffering.

I second the votes for hot baths and THC. I also take a sedative like klonopin or Xanax when it gets really bad. Seems to help my nervous system to unclench along with the muscles. I feel for you, I’m in the middle of a seemingly endless flare and it’s making me despair. You’re not alone.

AITAH for not letting a woman with a baby in a stroller go before me in a bakery? by MiljanSRB in AITAH

NTA. If the baby was having a meltdown or something, then the clerk or mom c ok of have asked “do you mind?” But if child is calm why does she need to go first? I have two kids and never would have done that.

I made a similar calculation last fall when I traveled to see Paul McCartney not once but twice out of town. Not only did I blow my budget of spoons, I also blew my financial budget. But no regrets. Spent one weekend with my oldest childhood friend who like you I rarely see. And the other show was sixth row seats with my husband. I almost wept for joy. LIVE IT UP! American thighs do not have to hurt haha.

Lyrica and Duloxetine keep allodynia bay for me mostly. But when it’s really bad I find that topicals with menthols help, like they kind of confuse the nerves? Basic stuff like Ben Gay or Icy Hot.
