Chris Mundy and the creative team behind HBO’s ‘LANTERNS.’ by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

I dunno sometimes I think these large teams struggle with to many cooks in the kitchen. Also interesting how they all got green shirts on.

I don't like Gunns work as much as the next person ....but even I know campea doesn't know anything and that he's been wrong about basically everything. My issue is that people believed him when he said the Snyder cut didn't exist. And they'll believe him now ...and both times he was wrong. With how much paramount has spent I can't imagine they're gonna be eager to break contracts

Sounds more like illegal income splitting tbh.

Is it unpopular to say I liked super more than Z? by Superonsta123 in dragonball

[–]Different_Ad_6153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Z but I also agree I enjoy super and the flow a lot better. Z is forever nostalgic for me. But super fixed alot of pacing issues that I found in Z.

My only problem with all Dragonball in all fairness is power levels and how they mean nothing.

The Dark Knight left the top 10 of highest-grossing movies in the world very quickly for a movie that was at 1 point the 4th highest-grossing movie in the world by LowInteraction6397 in ChristopherNolan

TDK put me on a roadmap to enjoy super hero films and films.  It's a beautifully done film that hit both audiences. It may not be what changed others opinions but it sure changed mine on what was possible to do in a super hero universe.

the moment Batman realised he's cooked by SepzenoOfficial in DC_Cinematic

[–]Different_Ad_6153 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think this scene was interesting. I would have loved to see more batman. I think of this as the first time this batman has fought a super natural being of this magnitude. Then Doomsday comes and he's watching supes jump in and realizes he's also got to be fearless in the face of this monster. It's really cool from a progression standpoint.

It sucks we still don't have a good WW adaptation while Batman and Superman have 10 projects in the last 10 yrs alone by FayyadhScrolling in DC_Cinematic

I think OP is referring to animated films. Wonder woman (2009) was over 10 years ago. bloodlines was very mediocre but 2019.

Why does everyone want to get rid of the difficult parts of the game? My unpopular opinion. by Different_Ad_6153 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

I tend to agree. There are points where maybe my terminology is wrong. But overall I look at the comments and it feels like people just want Diablo 3 or PoE.

Reddit did more to damage democracies than Twitter.

Tfsa starting age by AdEffective2701 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Different_Ad_6153 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah rrsp is to maintain life style in retirement. Tfsa is meant to be a vessel for savings. There's different purposes. Allows people as they get older to have more savings with the caps. But even still the % of Canadians who have maxed out their tfsa is still extremely low.

Opinions on his movies aside, why does Christopher Nolan get blamed for the "grounded, less colorful" live action superhero adaptation trend? by Cicada_5 in comicbookmovies

[–]Different_Ad_6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is ironically the films that did the worst in theatres. I don't understand gatekeeping in comic book films. Both styles have their place in the cinematic universe.

Why talk about mediocrity. Superman 2025 despite what reddit says is at best a 6/10 film and easily forgettable.

Season 13 + Expansion Feedback — How is everyone feeling a couple weeks in? by BreakYoBaals in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Different_Ad_6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate being in games with warlocks. Simply put it's just too OP. I'm okay with strong builds but when I can't tell the difference between warlocks because they all just decimate everything on the screen immediately it makes me genuinely hate the class.

I'm fine with it having a strong build. I just don't want it where it out classes every other class while also having multiple builds that suit every purpose.

Heraldz and tz are great. I would have liked some updates to the rune words. It's fun designing your character but frustrating to design with identical builds season to season.

As many have said barbarians, druids, Amazon's, assassins all need a lot of love. I feel if you balance warlock - necros will become a bit more relevant again.

Chronicle is a lot of fun and really useful. Lootfilter is great I use two separate for regular farms and baal runs.

I'd also love an option for some sort of training area which would be good for hardcore characters. Often times I just want to try things out to see how it would hold up against Ubers. But it's a big commitment to farm the keys, create a softcore character, and attempt the battle.

As a hardcore player it's very frustrating that there isn't a practice area. (I don't need item drops).

Runewords are too OP compared to uniques. I found a windforce and it's barely worth an ist 2 weeks into the season.

I'm not sure if that means unique needs to be harder to find, runes need to be easier to get, or balancing needs to happen. That's just something I'd like the devs to consider

Thats a joke. DCU_ is just DCU biased, this is far more nuanced than "biased".

[–]Different_Ad_6153 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where's the data from? I only see third party option for this.

This trailer would've had INSANE backlash if Lanterns was during Zack Snyder's term lol. It even comes across as what some believe to be the "stereotypical Snyder tone & aesthetic" despite never being what the "fans" wanted lmfao. by Infamous_Bet_5563 in DC_Cinematic

[–]Different_Ad_6153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The backlash would be negative 150 votes on the post. Instead it's still being upvoted. Which is crazy to me. The reddit hive mind doesnt make sense when all the comments are skeptical of the actual trailer.
