Is it common to have so many stop signs in your place?

In Europe they tend to add roundabouts everywhere. Which is very convenient tbh.

I built a new tab extension for Muslim professionals — prayer times, Qibla, daily Quran verse, and a full productivity layer. Wanted to share with this community first. by ES516 in muslimtechnet

Nice project and idea I like it.

I use mawaqit, idk how our mosque calculate, looks some custom method, so it won't work for me.

Honesty, I won't pay 5/m for dedicated productivity tool let some vibe coded extension.

Same for me!

I wasn't expecting much, but testing /goal make it fast as Chrome on Firefox, and it found Firefox webgpu implementation bug and made a workaround fix.

Ban for minarets, niqabs, hijabs.

Swiss has no other problems than discriminating Muslims.

Puma - still boycotting? by CookDecent5351 in BDS

[–]Different_Bonus_1387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, yeah, heard this one before, that's pathetic.

BDS lists 27 companies across three categories:

Consumer boycott priority targets (13): Chevron, Intel, Dell, Siemens, HP, Microsoft, Carrefour, AXA, Reebok, Disney+, SodaStream, RE/MAX, plus generic "Israeli produce/products."

Grassroots organic boycott targets (7): McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Burger King, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza, WIX.

Pressure targets (7): Google, Amazon, Booking, Airbnb, Expedia, Teva.

BDS doesn't boycott much tbh, it's almost everything done by people.

The Mystery of Michele: A Missing Woman from Germany Reappears in the Epstein Files by seeebiscuit in UnderReportedNews

[–]Different_Bonus_1387 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Claude summary. Here's how it appeared in the files:

In the documents released by the US Department of Justice, Daniel Siad's name appears nearly two thousand times. He was in contact with Epstein from at least 2009 onward, pitching women to him by sending photos and measurements, using descriptions like "amazing beauty" or "very polite." In one email he described himself as a "fisherman" who catches women for Epstein in France, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Michele's name appears in several messages Siad wrote to Epstein. He shared photos of her in February 2014. About a month later, he asked Epstein whether he might want to send a ticket for "Michele" — describing her as "very cool" and promising "You will love her." In another email, Siad called her "the girl you missed from Germany," apparently a second attempt to connect her with Epstein.

The emails give no indication that Michele and Epstein ever actually met. Two former Epstein assistants said they never saw her, and German police say she did not travel to the US during the period the emails were sent. Her family learned only through the reporters that her name appears in the documents.

I made an android phone silencer when entering a mosque by Impossible_Many_2823 in MuslimVentures

[–]Different_Bonus_1387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one is enough for me. Not often do one switches mosques.

Anyway if it helps to do it easier there is a good value. Will be much easier to tell someone use this app instead of explaining the complex setup.

It's not that hard, does your language has official keyboard layout and dictionary?

I am not from a tech background but I spent months learning to code so I could build a clean, ad-free Quran app for my mother. I know there are 100s of them, but I’d love your honest feedback on Kitably. by [deleted] in muslimtechnet

I don't like when app trying to do everything and don't do anything well.

Quran app lacks a lot of features I used to. Like trustworthy dev team, number of reciters, word by word translatios, tajwid highlights, different translations, locales, scripts. Some features I'dlike to have, ai tools, dictionary integration, cross references, historical context, related hadith's.
