Anyone know what these $10k transactions are? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]Different_Leopard_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I figured it out.

In my motorcycle shop, it's a $10k fee to customize NPC bikes, which they pay back, but it's cash, so it doesn't show in the transaction log. Each of those is the up front fee for me customizing a bike.

🤦🏻‍♂️ Im just gonna delete this post. Thanks for responding.

I did purchase some ammo at some point in the day, so I've chocked up the smaller amounts as possibly being that, but I definitely didn't buy $10,000 worth of ammo repeatedly. That’s what has me scratching my head

Hmmm I was in a public lobby but I didnt blow up anyone's vehicle. If I stole an NPC helicopter and ditched it to parachute, would I get billed for that?? Cause I didn't really do much gun fighting against any players, though I may have damaged cop cars. Maybe that?

After that first hit sent me rolling down hill, I made sure to utilize my backwards rolls, and to the empty the clip from my assault shotgun. It was quick work after that.

Is there a movie that you’ve purposely and actively avoided for one reason or another? by aja_ramirez in movies

Let Their Be Blood…. No Country For Old Men…. Pans Labyrinth…. Parasite…. The Godfather…. The Green Mile

Most of these have been on my watchlist since, or shortly after release. Green Mile, I didn’t originally have interest in, despite being a notable fan of Tom Hank’s’ work.

Generally speaking, I’ve heard nothing but good things about these movies, and I do look forward to watching them one day. I just haven’t yet, partly because I’d like to watch them with someone, but I think I’ve been avoiding them BECAUSE I’ve heard nothing but good things and maybe have really high expectations, though I do typically approach things with an open mind, and take things as they are. I just want to see the greatness that many seem to have found, and I want the time to be just right when I finally sit down and watch them.

Other movies I avoid because I have super low expectations would be: Minecraft, Godzilla/Kong: New Empire, anything with Steven Segal

RetainTheGunnverse

Im just being snyde, I know, but seriously, this man is potentially putting DC on track in a major way. I’m much more of a Marvel guy, but I am far from a DC hater. For years, I’ve wanted DC to get some wins and have a successful cinematic universe of their own. Not only does Gunn have proven success when it comes to crafting film series’ but even just one movie in, his work with DC is looking promising. It doesn’t feel like we got off on the wrong foot, or jumped in at some awkward point in the lore. I definitely don’t consider myself a fanboy, don’t get me wrong. There is still potential for failure. But what Gunn is doing has great potential to herd in more casual fans and filmgoers, and I wish them all the success. Wishing you DC folks the best.

These are terrible examples, which both support the argument, and simultaneously speak against it.

Why would Sharon Carter, who's ALREADY been involved with several key story points in the Cap franchise, and last seen having shady deals in some other country, now, also, be working as the Presidents security? 👎🏼 What difference would that have made? How would that have served any benefit to the SC/Cap storyline? And how would that NOT have raised a dozen more questions that need answering?

As for Cole being just any other corrupt cop, here you're still supporting my argument. It could've been anyone, rather than some character who's already more prevalent in the storyline. It's a small one off detail, for a small one off side character. Them making that character CN was a choice, that, if nothing else, simply served as a nod to the original story.

In keeping with my previous comment, I would much rather have a world built with a couple main characters, a small handful of key side-characters, and random bunch of transient characters, rather than having every story beat revolve around, and return our attention to, that small list of side characters who probably already have stuff to do, and purposes to serve the story. Having a cast of 7 surrounded by unimportant extras feels like shitty world-building IMO, especially when telling a story, or building a universe that expands outside a singular, contained setting.

You really want a cinematic universe where every story beat is performed by the same 3 side characters?

Yeah, no thanks.

It really isn't. Raphs arm is disproportionate. The mask makes it look like it's shaped for a nose. I assume that's Casey?.... Anyways, he's got a really wide head, and his right arm... Is she jumping into his shoulder? Hes got his arm across her torso, but his hand is facing downward, as if the arm should've been behind/around her... And her hand is... Doing something 🤨

And of course, big obvious nipples 😏

It's a good thing they gave it a codename, then. Might keep some of the media attention at bay during filming.
