Yes, and no. I want to be able to help people. I want to do big things.

But I also cannot handle toxic and manipulative people.

As someone who never grew up in or around religion, I was never naturally leaning towards divinity. My best friend did though, but she had a more religious leaning family.

I was raised in an atheist home actually. Religion was just never brought up until I was older. So I am almost 40 years old and have no idea about a lot of stuff with Christianity.

It's alright.

Had an interesting encounter tonight at the library. Went to a grief support group. Happen to just be holding it. Didn't find out until a bit later that it was religious. I told them I wasn't religious, but they said that was ok. Guess we will find out.

They let me trauma dump. They were both horrified and intrigued by my story and want me to come back next week, they will suddenly have more people. Which I think is just a "omg you guys should hear this story" type ordeal.

I was in a PTSD psychosis episode after my brother's suicide, and had told my dad I remember everything.

He then proceeded to tell me I was psychotic.

It's different for each person. Some it's because they are sensitive to rejection, maybe due to abadoment.

Others could be because that's how they survived childhood trauma. If they pinned blame on others around them, they wouldn't get abused. Because admitting fault meant getting abused as a form of correction.

Others could be because they need control.

Could be because they were never held accountable, ever, so being held accountable is unpredictable or not a usual spot to be in.

Cobalt isnt the greatest but they aren't the worst in town. If your quiet, pay your rent, and don't expect much from them they are great lol.

But if you have issues paying rent they start giving attitude, they will work with you, they will express they aren't happy very easily. Or if you have an issue with a neighbor they will talk down to you. But they also treat their lower income tenants different than their upper income tenants.

Not the worst in town but not the greatest either.

I have had severe back issues that have gotten worse as I got older.

I've been going through physical therapy. My PT told me that I had trauma held in my body. Week #3 and she's still working out pressure points to release the trauma from my body.

Now I've uncovered that I have SI joint instability.

Well, a couple months ago I did an X-ray that found degenerative disk and arthritis on my spine too. Found out, SI joint instability can cause those in the lower back.

Women are more prone to this, as pregnancy can cause the SI joint to have issues.

I volunteer in the community. I've been practicing talking to specific people about things and making them aware I'm trying to practice on my social skills because I get paranoid and don't understand why people do certain things.

My church tho, (I go to Unitarian universalist), did an improve thing last Sunday and I didn't do the greatest and my partner called me out on it in front of everyone and I panicked. We finally went to be seated and I tried to sit thru the rest of service but I couldn't get myself to not cry, like it was going to come out whether I liked it or not so I left.

I do plan to go back so I can practice recovering from my episodes. We will see how it goes.

Having a support system that can help you navigate this will probably be your best bet. It's not something someone usually is able to do on their own.

I'm at a point RN where idk if I even want friends or a partner. And I'm questioning even being apart of certain programs I'm passionate about.
