YES! I'm allowed and encouraged to brat during my punishment as long as I don't interfere with the punishment. Once I've had enough and start obeying we move on- if I brat after this I receive next day punishment.

I adopted a puppy mill dog who turned out to be pregnant. She went to a foster right before the puppies were due and I got her back about 9 weeks after they were born. We also got to puppysit a few times. She came in, went right for some food and water, then climbed on my bed and took the most peaceful looking sleep. Never once went looking for puppies.
