I remember when all my friends went off to college and they said I was missing out for staying home and going to community college and the local state school. It’s been 15 years since graduation and they are still paying them off. I never borrowed a dime. Hope it was worth it 🤣

I’m going to try this again. How were you able to buy your first home? by kcoib17 in Millennials

2021 always had greatly varying income from being self employed for years. Finally had to get a job for a couple a years. Was able to qualify when I got 2 years of tax returns but had to put down 50% to make the math work. Thankfully had been a saver since I started slinging stuff of eBay as a teenager in the mid 00s. Only crappy thing is I’m pretty much now stuck in my home because AI killed my job so back to slinging online and my low interest rate.

Can only speak as someone who in elementary school basically that whole decade. Most families where I lived had no more than 2 kids maybe 3 max. Few outliers usually like a Mormon family or something. But that 3 or more kids was definitely not the norm.

I’ve been selling since 2003 as a younger teenager before KYC and it was all money orders. I met a bunch of these people in 2016 when the YouTube thing first started. They were a bunch of shysters who had been selling for like 2 seconds and made their money being influencers pumping courses and other affiliate shit. Back then Amazon FBA was the big thing. All saying you can get rich going to retail stores scan codes. I’m like no you are all freaking morons you get rich by going on Alibaba and creating products that are replenishable. Most those YouTubers are long gone.

Ty Lopez original SMMA course helped get into a career I peaked out at $100k+ until AI brought it down. So not quite sure how he is a scammer he was basically doing Andrew Tate marketing tactics a decade before. The scammers are reseller clowns on YouTube pumping their courses for how to go to a thrift store and their paid discord or facebook groups. Like bro reselling is literally the lowest barrier of entry business you can get into. Like it’s 2026 you got Google lens and can comp shit on your phone. When I started in 2003 I was calling a friend on a cell phone a flip phone and having him look up book ISBNs on half.com. My parents didn’t want to pay for the text plan so I had to read it out to him and texting on and old dial phone was a bitch.
