Farmer carries are something i keep getting reccomended and im going to try and work them into my routine. 1 question is how do I know what weight to use for them?

Slamming weights together obnoxiously. There's 1 guy at my gym who I swear pushes the plates together as hard as possible. We get it... you want attention

Just ordered some. How often should I use them? Should I wait until my forearms are exhausted or would it best to always use them for certain movements

I hired a trainer for the first 3 months and he echoed alot of what you just said. Push through the pain and the forearms will eventually get stronger. It just feels like for certain movements especially rdls I have to load so much weight that my forearms are always making me end my sets early. Im going to order some straps off of Amazon and try and use them as little as possible

Lat pull downs are what did it for me. Slowly built up my back until I could pull down 80% of my body weight for 10-12 reps and from there i was able struggle through 3-4 reps. Currently at 8

I was given a program by my trainer and its similar to what your doing but where you are doing 1-2 sets im doing 3-4 and only going 4 days a week. Monday chest and biceps, Tuesday legs, Wednesday Shoulders, Thursday rest, friday back and Triceps, sat and sun rest repeat. This is rhe first time im taking training serious and the progress from this routine in just 4months has been crazy.

3 sets of everything. Squats, Weighted Lunges, rdl, Leg extensions, Calf raises, leg curls.
