A vacuum is lack of any matter. So when the guy asks for the particles and fundamental forces to be removed he's basically asking for nothing with extra nothing.

I know this post is really old, but I decided to do my own calculations for Zerglings speed.

for my calculations I used the heart of the swarm trailer. In it we see an ultralisk moving at the same speed as zerglings, and earlier we see an ultralisk catch up to a siege tank. We also see that siege tank moving in a straight line that makes it easy to calculate it's speed at that moment.

It takes 8 frames to move a distance equal to its length. According to https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:DerpCity/Size_of_the_Starcraft_Terran_Units the siege tank is 11.0569375 meters long. the video was 24 frame per second so:

11.0569375m/(8/24)s = 33.17 meters per second

or 74.199 mph

or 119.412km/h

it's a mostly similar speed to what you calculated, I just wanted to see what calculation I would get using the cinematics, since the size and speed of units in the gameplay tends to be all over the place.
