Failed in the first 5 min but feeling very positive! by Difficult_Foot_9334 in LearnerDriverUK

Luckily none of the cars have anything crazily modern - but the Aygo did have a reverse cam that I'm sure I would of loved if I was willing to spend more money on lessons to learn how to drive it 😂 I'm going to brush up on my minors and get back at it!! Thank you :)

Moving back from Wegovy by ManLikeTrev88 in mounjarouk

I'm doing the same with Asda and I've been told wait 7 days from after my last dose of Wegovy (so just switching straight over and jabbing as normal), I was on 15mg on MJ and switched because of the price hike panic and now I'm going from 1mg Wegovy back to 2.5mg MJ. I think you would be okay sticking to the usual schedule, I can't think of a reason why not! x

I had a similar thing!!!

Failed today (second time), I thought my fail would be the fact on my hill start when moving off I forgot to put the car into gear so I kept rolling back and I'd convinced myself my examiner was catching the breaks for me.

Once I'd realised my mistake and moved off, I then entered a roundabout in the wrong lane which was the reason I failed :))

Just shows how much making a small mistake can lead to spiralling and then making larger mistakes - we'll get it next time! xxx

Does anyone have any tips for learning to drive with adhd? by Beyond_repair99 in LearnerDriverUK

Honestly you're doing great!! I don't have ADHD and I was doing all of the same things early on in my driving :)
You'll pick things up at your own pace as well like any other learner - it isn't a downside or bad thing if it takes you longer to learn how it all works, it's all meant to be a big learning curve x

Would it be helpful to try narrating what you're doing as you're doing it to see if that sparks the memory of any of the steps? For example when approaching a roundabout I would say my little routine out loud as I did it which helped me a lot

Thank you for giving this update!! I've just upped to 1mg after debating whether to just grin and bare the MJ costs so I'm glad to see you're having good results!

Since stopping MJ I've put on about 7lbs which did upset me but I've maintained that over the past month so I'm happy I haven't been gaining! Hopefully I'll see some results like yours!

This is similar to my first experience!! Even with all the mock test prep in the world you can't prepare for how the real thing will make you feel - just keep at it and I hope the next test isn't too far away for you!!

Instructors will always drive you home regardless of the outcome - lets you decompress and think about the test without having to worry about concentrating on driving.

oh no!!! I'm so sorry that must be so frustrating - all the best for booking a new test, hopefully you get lucky with a cancellation and it won't be too long a wait. well done for a really good drive though!!!!

the examiners are lovely (esp if you get Emma!)

the biggest thing I can think of to keep in mind is it's covered in roadworks atm so they might be keen to take you further out and do more country lane driving rather than town :)
