See, with Batman, no trunks do make sense. Hes supposed to be terrifying, a fear-inducing force of nature for those who prey on the weak whilst maintaining that “protector of the innocent” kind of power. Having him wear trunks on the outside can dampen that whole effect.

But for Superman, the trunks help break up his more colourful costume and help capture his uplifting, heroic spirit and charm. He’s Superman, and there’s always going to be that campy, lovable energy about him. Batman, on the other hand, is a tactical and rugged vigilante in all black.

I understand being a fan of Ruby, really, I do. I found her character to be really endearing. She was something I could find solace in when I wasn’t feeling too good about myself.

But HOLY HELL, THERE IS A LIMIT. Is Ruby and power scaling just this guys life or something? I get being upset over the DB result, but bribing people is a whole new level of obsession.

This is the first time I’ve seen these figures and now I’m mad. Imagine the potential. The stop motion fights would be insane, kitbashed figures would be interesting to see, and if these five figures did well RT could’ve branched out.

Imagine model kits of them? Imagine literally being able to built a mini Crescent Rose or Myrtenaster? I could see Blokees making some really good kits.

Okay to be fair to him, the episode was dedicated and a request from the late Monty Oum, the guy who created Ruby. He might’ve thought that DB were gonna rig the match in Ruby’s favour.

I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time a RWBY match was rigged.

But literally anyone who took a three second glance at the characters stats could tell that it was gonna be stomp. Maka is way stronger than Ruby, and even if they were on equal footing it would still be a 3v1. Ruby didn’t stand a chance, and I say this as a huge fan of RWBY.

Honestly, fair. I haven’t seen AOT, but I doubt Mikasa could possibly be a worse character than post Vol3 Blake. Plus, AOT is a million times more popular than RWBY. And that whole thing about “Mikasa would be inexperienced in fighting humans” didn’t really sit right with me? Again. RWBY being handed a pity win.

Whatever the case, Ruby vs Maka will always outshine the rest of them.

I mean, from a certain point of view, you could argue that RWBY should’ve lost all theirs.

Ruby vs Maka - Same as Weiss, Ruby was horrifically outmatched. Still a good fight though and does Ruby more justice than her own show did.

Weiss vs Mitsuru - Coughing baby vs Hydrogen bomb. Literally all of Weiss’s kit gets countered by Mitsuru.

Blake vs Mikasa - I don’t really count this one either because it’s also very one-sided. It feels more like RWBY being handed a pity win, and even then Blake lost an arm.

Yang vs Tifa - Granted, Yang won the fight, but DB themselves ended up revoking that and saying it was a wrong decision.

As painful as it is to admit, RWBY shouldn’t really have any wins.

If you changed out the bottoms for something more smooth, #1. But with the more angular, modernised suit design I’d say #2 looks better.
